This place is honestly awesome. Everything is homemade, and you can really tell from the first bite. The quality of the ingredients is so fresh, and it never disappoints. The baba ganoush is absolutely to die for — that very first bite alone is worth the visit.

All the meats are incredibly flavorful and cooked just right. Just a friendly warning: go easy on the garlic unless you want to be vampire-proof for the next 24 hours! And if you’ve got room for something sweet, definitely try the baklava. What a treat.

The restaurant isn’t fancy by any means, but that’s part of its charm. The food speaks for itself and takes you straight to the Mediterranean with every bite. A truly comforting and delicious experience every time.

I ordered the gyro and the yellow rice. The fresh veggies and the gyro really made the difference. The gyro was great. Balance flavorful really nice. The yellow rice was fantastic, however it was a lot.

The lamb shawarma plate came with great portion size and super tender meat, yummy hummus and veggies, and fresh bread! Great fast service and loved the meal.
The cheese manakeesh was rich and filling.
The zaatar manakeesh had a super strong and salty flavor fyi because of how much zaatar was on it—we ate it together with the cheese one.

I do not like to badmouth on any review as I recognize the consequences to anyone trying to make a success.

However, after an evening of takeout 3 of the seven of us became sick with GI symptoms. In my wife’s and my case it started 6 hrs after ingestion ; the third I do not know. I have no other than anecdotal evidence of food poisoning however.

I went there after I've seen a very good rate for this place, but I'm surprised with the poor house keeping in general. One of the examples, if you open the hot sauce bottle on the table, you will find hard old material leftover, it looks too bad,

Stopped in for lunch as we drove through Rochester and I'm glad we did. Hardly any wait at all, big portions, and the food was delicious. Chicken shawarma was good but I loved the gyro.
