Every time I go to Clownboy, I wish it was closer to where I work or live, but that's more of a me problem. My most recent visit sealed the deal on why I need to just make the trip periodically.
This is a fully vegan coffee shop. I am not vegan but I am lactose intolerant so it's a treat to order from a menu with reckless abandon and not having to worry whether my coffee would be better with traditional milk. I think Clownboy is on par with many of the local coffee shops in the area quality-wise. I believe they make many (if not all) of their syrups in house, which is greatly enjoyed and appreciated. My personal favorite is the Dale Cooper, a cold brew with fig and walnut bitters. It's not sweet and has a subtle almost smoky finish. It's sophisticated and reminds me of a cocktail in a way. I have dabbled with a few other drinks on the menu and enjoyed them as well, but the Dale Cooper is my jam.
The vibe in the cafe is great. It's fun, welcoming and colorful. Local artists have work displayed for sale. I am more of a grab and go coffee drinker by default, but I could totally see myself chilling here for a while if the mood struck.
There are a few very small things I wish were different (limited seating, street parking), but on a nice day, I don't mind a little walk and a coffee to go.

Always glad to try a new local shop and love it. Clownboy is an all vegan coffee shop. As a recently dairy free person I was glad to support. I had the seasonal special, plum latte that balanced sweetness and boldness of the coffee. They have multiple selections of vegan pastries, packaged and freshly delivered. Can't wait to go back and try something new.

IM OBSESSED! Its so cute and quaint in here. The person working was super nice, the matcha was super good, and the cherry jam pastry was TO DIE FOR. Like i dreamt about it. if i lived closer id come every day. there was also a small selection of trinkets and books that were really neat! And i really appreciated the single stall bathroom. overall the vibes were unbeatable and i felt very safe in there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
