If you’re not familiar, Malaysian food is kinda halfway between Thai and Indian food. So if you like those two you’ll love Malaysian food. Rendang is the “national dish,” (as much as any country has one national dish) and wonderful in this restaurant. Have gotten multiple dishes both as take out from here and dine-in, and both are great experiences.

Food was very good. Menu has sufficient variety to accommodate various preferences. (They do not charge extra for brown rice.) Silverware is unusually nice and comfortable, which was appreciated by this ergonomist.

We really wanted to like this restaurant. A group of us visited from out of town because the reviews were good. The food had zero flavor. I ordered Singapore Rice noodles with pork instead of shrimp. No flavor. Other items the group ordered was Seafood Wat Tan Hor. No flavor. Very bland. The chicken in the Maylasian sweet and sour chicken and the General Tso's Chicken was chewy. The sauces were worse than an Asian entree purchased from the freezer section at your local grocery store. One person in our group ordered the TomYam Seafood Rice noodle soup and they didn't even give her a spoon. There were zero condiments on the tables. I had to hunt down a bottle of soy sauce and there weren't any salt and pepper to be found. Really? I'm guessing the good chef had the day off.I do not recommend this Restaurant.

The servers were very nice! But, kind of disappeared:(. My friends and I only came for dessert. Fried ice cream? Delicious. Mango smoothie? Not a smoothie, but good. Soy milk? Do not recommend.

We started with the Roti Canai, which is like a curry with slow cooked beef or pork, and bread to dip in it. I could eat that all day!! The curried fish lunch special was really fantastic. I’m definitely coming here again.

World class, legendary. EVERYONE I have taken to Coco garden, has loved it...so it's not just my opinion. From the lemon tea, to coconut rice to basically any dish on the menu. One of many rare for Rochester and spectacular dishes (appetizers) is Roti Canai, the bread literally melts in mouth!

I never had Malaysian food. The staff was helpful, and the food was great, especially the mango shrimp. I do suggest asking them to spice it up a bit or ask o a side of their house hot sauce. The portions were a good size and had leftover for lunch because I had to order the pan-fried dumpling. Yum, I will definitely come back.

This was my 1st time there. I had the Mango Tofu lunch item. It was so good! I thought they had made a mistake & gave me the full dinner portion, but, no. The lunch portion was huge! I can't imagine what the dinner size is like. I am looking forward to my leftovers for lunch tomorrow!Vegetarian options: Has a good selectionDietary restrictions: Has the option for gluten free on some items.Parking: It's in a plaza so plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: It's on the 1st floor.

I came for a late lunch, early dinner. Ordered Puff Shrimps & Pineapple Fried Rice. As soon as I was seated I was asked what kind of tea I like. It was served pipping hot on a big mug like cup. The Puff Shrimps are minced shrimp wrapped in Bacon(4) little pieces with a sweet/sour sauce.I liked them. The Fried Rice had Chicken, Shrimp, Egg, Veggies, and chunks of Pineapple. A good size portion that created left overs to take home. It was delicious. I like that it didn’t have too much sauce. I asked for more Hot Tea, Jasmine, and had a Mango Pudin. Refreshing. I will come back to tried other dishes.
