Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Very disappointed when I have to try to explain to my 8 year old our waitress tattoo of two legs with a heart in the middle of the legs with the statement eat your heart out. This is supposed to be a kid friendly atmosphere and just very appalled for this. Sadly other than this issue the place is great food is wonderful.

Love this place. The atmosphere is lovely...the shop is so much fun to walk around in. Many cute novelties and yummy candy. The marinated chicken is delicious and the hashbrown casserole is also a favorite. The Mac and cheese is also good.

My friend had just had physical therapy and the hostess made sure he had a seat while we waited our turn and didn't need to go far for a table!

Great service, the wait is always long but they try their best to get you in there. Was told on a Sunday that it would be a 50 minute wait. But actually ended up waiting only 15-20 minutes. Our server was super friendly. Made sure we were happy. We love that they always have breakfast there. My order is always the country boy and I'm always satisfied with it. My son tried their stuffed Oreo pancakes and he ate almost all of it. It was so filling.

I was very disappointed in my " fish fry" it was 4 small pieces of the tail of the fish. It's been my experience at other establishments , that they always serve a whole piece of fish. Usually bigger than the plate.

Cracker barrel struggled during and after COVID, but they finally settled on some new items on the menu and it's really good.

I had their meatloaf. It's beef and was delicious. I asked for sides of broccoli and carrots (not half raw like was a trend a few years ago, but actually cooked) and they did a great job!

Enjoyed looking through the store as usual. A favorite place for us to go.

Homestyle Chicken was amazing. Was super busy when we stopped for dinner so we had to wait for 20 minutes but spent the time wandering the gift shop. Lol, ended up spending more in gift shop items than food.
Staff were all super nice.
Would highly recommend.

Stopped on our way home from airport following vacation. Food was good as we would expect based on many previous Cracker Barrel meals. Service was less than we would expect. We were seated immediately upon arrival, but it took about 10 minutes before any wait staff came to our table. This was surprising because I'd estimate the dining room to be about 25% of capacity. Because of the wait we were ready to give both our drink and dinner orders when our server arrived. Soon after placing our order, corn bread and biscuits were brought to the table but not the drinks. We also had no napkins or plates for the corn bread/biscuits. Drinks were soon brought to table, but we had to ask our server for napkins. Following dinner we had an additional issue with check-out. We had a Cracker Barrel gift card they were unable to access. The cashier tried several different ways to access it but was unable. We were advised to follow-up with the 800 number on the card to resolve the issue. Overall, not our best Cracker Barrel experience.

The consistency isn’t there. Sometimes the pancakes are good, other times they’re under cooked. I’ve almost sent them back to receive the same pancakes in return with no change instead of making a fresh batch… but the fried apples are always great!
