Creative Caterers went above and beyond to make my wedding amazing, especially since I contacted them a week before my wedding!!! Meg was super easy to communicate with over phone and email as we worked out the details, days before the wedding. Also, I wanted to give a shout out to the two servers that day - Edmundo and Joshua. They were absolutely fantastic and we couldn't have done it without them! Definitely recommend!!!
I just had my wedding catered by Glendoveers (at a different venue) and it was some of the best food any of us have had at a wedding! The carved sirloin and alfredo sauce were especially delicious. They were so helpful with getting everything set up and taken down, including centerpieces that we had brought ourselves. I have heard that a lot of newly-weds don't even get a chance to eat their own food, but the caterers prepared an entire plate of appetizers for us on our sweetheart table while we were doing photos. They also even served the two of us dinner plates even though we had a buffet dinner, and packed up the remainder of our cake and desserts nicely.
We just had our daughter’s wedding and reception at Toganenwood. It was perfect! The team was accommodating, the food was great, and so many of our guests said it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended! Chelsea was AMAZING! She guided everything so smoothly that we were able to just enjoy the whole event. Most of all my daughter and her wife had the ceremony and epic party they dreamed of.
Having use of the farmhouse at Toganenwood Friday and Saturday nights for the wedding party was ideal. Also, the bridal suite is exceptional with chairs, mirrors, outlets, comfortable seating, several make-up stations, full bathroom, and fridge.
If we have need for a large party again, we will use Creative Caterers again - whether at the barn (Toganenwood) or at Glendoveer’s. Customer service was unbeatable.
I attended an event that was catered by Creative Caterers and I cannot say enough good things about them! They were so seamless in their clean up and transitions and everything was so tasteful! I plan to use them for my own events moving forward!
They did such a beautiful job with my daughter's entire shower! The food was delicious and they were so accommodating! I highly recommend them!
On a day that is supposed to be the best day of someone’s life their wedding day was ridiculous ruined. The food which was a custom picked menu by the bride was not what not what she ordered. Some of us guest didn’t even get to eat because it was wrong. Steak was either over cooked or not cooked enough. Some of the potatoes were black. A bride should not have to go through with worrying about the dinner or hors d’oeuvres at a wedding that she paid good money for. If you want good food don’t go through this place they will rip you off and refused to even give you anything back. Oh and the bride over paid and they won’t even give her that back. Horrible service I wish you could pick 0 stars
I'm gonna keep this short but I do have a much more detailed post as well as receipts. I had my wedding on 6.22.24 and these were my caterers. From the very first meeting with them I had a custom menu. Which was gone over more than once leading up to my event. I was assured it was fine. On the day of my wedding I was missing appetizers and my dinners were not the custom options I had worked out with them. When I requested a PARTIAL refund (because the bar was fine. I'm not going to unreasonably request a full refund) they said they wouldn't because it wasn't their fault I received the wrong food. It was their employees fault because she put the custom notes in the wrong spot. So somehow they are not responsible for their employees. In addition, just be warned that they told me it's their policy not to refund overpayment. I overpaid by about $250 based on my invoice total and was told they won't give it back, in addition to not giving me a refund for messing up my menu. I gave them a chance to work this out privately but they refused to work with me, so here I am in the court of public opinion. Here's what I know their response to this is going to be, because they told me already. They said they don't owe me money because (besides not being responsible for their employees mistakes) I underpaid already. They think I underpaid because according to them the minimum charge for the RMSC is 100 people, which I was never told, and in fact, at my very first meeting I told them my guest count was 85 and they said okay that works. So I'm not sure how I underpaid when i signed a contract they made for my event. If they forgot to charge, that doesn't mean they can just freestyle my menu into something I didn't want with absolutely no communication about it. Aside from all this, the food tasted like a salt-free reheated frozen dinner.
To Creative Caterers, before you (if you) respond, please note that there are at least 60 other people who also attended wedding and saw the problems with the food.
These people nearly ruined my good friend's wedding. Here's exactly why you shouldn't use them for ANY event needs:
1). They refuse to give my friend a refund even though THEIR staff are the one's who messed up and resulted in the COMPLETELY WRONG MENU BEING SERVED TO THE WEDDING GUESTS.
2). As mentioned in point 1, the menu was wrong. My friend paid for a custom menu, as she loves food and wanted something slightly different than regular wedding food. This menu had been established since January. According to these caterers, someone on THEIR staff put the custom notes in the wrong spot on the event paperwork. Even though the mistake is CLEARLY ON THEIR END, they refuse to take accountability and refuse to give my friend a refund.
3). Speaking of the food specifically, it was mid-to low quality AT BEST. It wasn't so bad that it was memorable, but it also wasn't so good that it was memorable either. It was just OK and forgettable. Some of the steaks that were served were so raw they could have started moo'ing (remember, this is a mass crowd that was being served. Not individually cooked to preference). For sides, they threw together some round potatoes, some random stalks of broccoli and a couple carrot skewers and called it a night. Absolutely NOT what the Bride wanted or paid for.
4). They didn't tell the Bride at the VERY FIRST MEETING that they had a minimum 110 guest count for the venue (that being the Rochester Museum and Science Center). Instead, they waited until the Bride was in a meeting with them to go over this entire mess(post wedding).
TL;DR: Bride paid for a special catering menu that represented her and her fiancée, received something completely different, and was basically told even though it was their employee who messed up, it isn't their fault.

The managing coordinator, Chelsea, was absolutely amazing and responded to any requests no matter the time. The bartender, Bella, was absolutely amazing (pictured here). She was so much fun, so attentive and fit right in with our crazy crowd!
Creative Caterers catered our daughter's June 8th wedding. The appetizers and served sit down dinner far exceeded our expectations. We chose china, silver and cloth napkins. Tables were beautifully set with napkins artfully displayed, salt & pepper shakers, water goblets and individual plates of rolls with fancy dollops of butter. The salads were an incredible variety of greens, veggies and fruit. Our selections of chicken french, grilled salmon and sliced tenderloin were brought out covered. Each selection received many compliments as well as compliments for Chad and his staff who were very friendly and attentive. Catering plays an important part of a reception and we felt Creative Catering was exceptional. They truly helped make our daughter and son-in-law's wedding the day of their dreams.
Creative catered my sisters baby shower and everyone was raving about the food. They were great to work with, quick response time and food was AMAZING! Evan was hands on and so helpful the day of event. He went above and beyond.
