It was a decent calzone much better than a pizza hut or papa johns, but not as great as a good Italian calzone. Iwas expecting to sit down, but it is a carry out or door dash only which was disappointing.

Good spot for late-night drunk food. Service has always been speedy and the staff has always been friendly. It's not fine dining, but it scratches an itch, and they've never gotten our order wrong or anything. If you want bread and cheese and grease, as we all do sometimes, this is a great place to get it.

No real seating and food was very expensive for how much we got. I believe that if a restaurant wants to offer any food, it should be paid attention to for quality as much as the main speciality of the restaurant. DP Dough clearly doesn't try on anything other than their main dishes, especially with their wings. Limited offerings on top. They also, for some reason, don't do food delivery but also have no dining in options at the restaurant itself, which is just stupid in the modern era.

I love dp dough so much, I really miss the garlic dough bites though. Y’all need to bring them back. Other than that, I love y’all so much. Food so good I’ll kiss all the workers and the owner (respectfully).

Food:
The food is usually just alright. The calzones aren't worth $15, but they're pretty alright. I'm willing to spend the money when I'm going there with my friends, but otherwise I'd go somewhere else.
Service:
It takes at least 15 minutes for your calzone to be made, and you have to wait in the store - to my knowledge, no online ordering. Sometimes they forget to call your name and you have to go up and ask if your food is done.
The people are nice enough though.
Atmosphere:
If there's a lot of people (not uncommon) then the room becomes pretty crowded. There are only like 4 seats.
They have a chalkboard you can draw on, but I have literally never seen the chalk in the chalk holders - and I usually eat there at reasonable hours.

Dietary restrictions: I think they have one or two veg options. I would be surprised if they didn't have gluten-free options.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of college students eat here - most of them drunk. I probably wouldn't bring my kids here - especially if they get antsy with long waits. Though I'm sure the chalk wall would be fun (if they ever put the chalk out - which I've never seen)

Wheelchair accessibility: Roll right in. The counter is pretty high though.

The options of calzones were great. They tasted amazing. They have something for everyone. We did take out. Ready for pickup quickly. Food came with plastic silverware.

DP Dough is the ultimate spot for students looking to satisfy their midnight cravings. Their calzones are delicious and come in a variety of flavors, perfect for late-night snacking. The service is quick, and the portions are generous, making it a go-to for a filling meal at any hour. If you're a student needing a tasty late-night fix, DP Dough won't disappoint.

Disappointed and DissatisfiedAs a lover of comfort food type of cuisine, I was eager to try out the calzones at D.P.Dough. However, my experience left much to be desired. Firstly, the service was incredibly slow, with long wait times despite there being few customers. Man I miss Calios, they knew how to cook calzones. I believe a homeless person would find a more delightful mean out of the trash can. When my calzone finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best, and the dough was overcooked, leaving a dry, burnt taste. The filling lacked flavor and seemed like it had been hastily thrown together without much thought. The cheesy tots, left under the influence prior or ordering, were going to be drizzled or topped with a creamy nacho cheese, not shredded cheese on a flattop melted over scorching temperatures to make what you see below. To add insult to injury, the prices were exorbitant considering the poor quality of the food. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and dissatisfied, with no desire to return or recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and skip this disappointing calzone joint.

Good food and great employees. Them removing the dine-in option is rather tragic.

It's a pretty popular spot for people to go when you want something to eat real late. Usually I go there sometimes to pick up some food during my lunch break at 2 am. There would be people sitting and waiting for their food to be made. I would recommend to order ahead of time so you're not caught there waiting also.
