Always a great meal. Never had a bad one.
I've lived in Rochester my whole life. I've had fish fries from dozens of restaurants and diners. This is, in my opinion, the best fish fry you can get in Rochester. There are some I haven't tried but this is reasonably priced, delicious and huge. It's the only place I go for a ff now. Plus the guy cracks me up, he's a personality. Highly recommend.
Well we order 2 fish fry's and 1 claim strip dinner. The fries were soggy and cold. The coleslaw tasted like vinegar and it was horrible. The fish was so so really greasy though. $60 down the drain. Throw the coleslaw and fries out and ate a little bit of the fish. It was the worst ever. I seen a lot of good reviews on here. They were not true all bad. Really disappointed.
Great selection of seafood
While the meals show a price on the menu board, they do over charge at the register if your not paying attention, the owner also snatched my card out of my hand when I went to pay and hand him the card. Clams had a weird smell and after taste. Mac salad had no flavor. Just straight noodles and carrots with mayo.
Paid 83 for our meals
I decided to add on some drinks they came up to 25 bucks.
The first experience I had was pleasant this last one last weekend not so much.
Large portions!

Excellent fish fry dinners
Awesome food and awesome customer service ... Highly recommend !!!!
Dave always hook us up. It's a bit expensive but the servings are extra. We can't eat it all in one day.
Fried scallops were very good but he put in an extra 1/4 lb in so they were $36. This guy is an owner and overcharged us in the past so we think it was on purpose Fish dinner was unremarkable as the fish was over cooked and dry, dry, dry. Asked for a cup of chowder and a seafood bisque. The chowder was the consistency of skim milk with maybe 8 chunks of potato and no distinguishing clams, onions, celery, or carrots. Bisque tasted like sugar with flaked crab and nothing else. They both went down the drain. $73.00 later and highly disappointed!
Love Love, the fried fish dinner, tried the fish and shrimp combo now I'm hooked again..
