The best bbq restaurant in Rochester, NY. A bit line up, but it's worth it. Order the family menu if you come in 5 people.. Give you a lot of choices and food. The ice tea is great too!

Great BBQ at Dinosaur! The pork belly was rich and flavorful, and the ribs were smoky and tender. Crispy fries, creamy mac and cheese, and sweet cornbread made this a fantastic plate overall. ⭐⭐⭐⭐🔥

Oh my gosh, we recently had Dino BBQ cater an in office lunch for us at work... our delivery driver Jim, was outstanding! I wanted to just hang out with him all day, what a sweet and caring human. He came into the office and did not leave until he had made sure that everything was set up the right way, everything had utensils, he had wet naps at the ready and I just could not believe how amazing he was. Will be ordering again and requesting to see Jim once more! Besides Jim stealing the show, the food was also delicious, we had chicken and pulled pork with mac and cheese, greens, beans, mashed potatoes with gravy, and a house salad with their house BBQ dressing that I have since hidden to take home with me. It was and still is incredible!

Kelly killed it. Tay was good too but we got moved out her section. Original wait was 45 min but 10 mins later we were seated (party of 8). Service was spectacular, food was good, wish had bigger portions but I'm a fatty. In eat and out in under an hour. Which was incredible.

We came from buffalo for an event at the arena and decided to come here for dinner beforehand as it was within walking distance from our hotel. We decided to get there about 4pm and good thing we did as we just beat the rush. Food was very good as was the service. We were seated immediately but within 30-40 min there was a wait list for tables. I would dine here again when back in the area.

I was in Rochester for the evening and the hotel said that this was pretty much the only place available for food. I decided since that was my only option to try it out and I have to say I was very impressed. This is the best food that I've had in a long time.
If you have the opportunity to stop by Dinosaur Bar-B-Que you, you should definitely come. From the atmosphere, to the service, to the amazing food, you will not be disappointed.

I have been going to Dinosaur since I was little. I have never had a bad experience or a bad meal here. If you are looking for authentic, amazing pit bbq, you have to stop at Dinosaur. They have their Rochester location as well as one in Syracuse. You will not be disappointed. The greens, sweet potatos and bbq beans are my favorite sides!
