My friend and I met for lunch and were greeted with an easily accessible table. Our waitress was friendly and happy to chat with us without invading our space. The food was delicious, the jalapeño cheddar sausage and baked beans were the highlights of my combo platter.

1st the staff was very kind. I asked them how the sides were and they told me and allowed me to sample them. I absolutely loved the potato salad it was soo good and so were the baked beans. They had a nice kick to it. Also the greens were really good. Brisket was good but I was expecting better, maybe that’s why it was so cheap. The cornbread was super dry. Don’t recommend it. Gotta have a Dr Pep

Ate here while visiting family in the area. Service was excellent and the food was great. I ordered the Cajun catfish with Harlem potato salad and coleslaw as my choice of sides. A server brought us a plate of BBQ samples to try. Everything was good. On-street parking available plus a nearby parking ramp (for a fee). The place was noisy but had a great vibe.

I loved Dinosaur for years and never had any issues with them. Today I did a pick up order, which I have done many times and paid by phone. The merchant charged my card, I got the notification from my bank app and the merchant on the other line said my card declined after taking payment. I showed up to the restaurant to show them my card was charged and the manager wasn’t empathetic or fixed the issue. She blamed it on my card, which they charged already. The young woman who took my order and payment was laughing and thought the situation was funny. Only thing funny is they have her at the front line and she doesn’t know how to make a simple transition. They did issue a credit on my card but didn’t tell me before I got there because they knew they were wrong. Get better training and mangers asap!

Management needs to address the ceiling pipe dripping grease/grime? from the ceiling piles running the full length of the room with the elk head.
Last night we visited for the first time. They were extremely busy and the wait time was a bit excessive.
We were seated right next to the host station at first and within minutes of sitting down, noticed the ceiling pipe above dripping brown oily substance on us and our table.
The server moved us to the booth in the corner which was still directly in line with this visibly wet pipe that was dripping on all of the other patrons along the line. The response was “it’s a 100+ year old building”.
We told the server again that it was still dripping what looks to be oil from the pipe onto myself and where we would be eating our food.
Her solution was to push the table down further.
I placed a plate then menu at the corner of the table which ended up collecting whatever grease and grime is falling onto patrons while they are eating.
There is a line all the way down the floor including directly in front of the hostess station and coming out of the kitchen.
Rather than close or rearrange that section while this issue is taken care of, they just keep seating.
I’ve worked in the service industry and know this would be a major health code violation and find it difficult to believe that they are unaware of the issue. Unfortunately things happen but they should not continue to seat people knowing that grease? Is falling from their ceilings onto people’s meals and ruining new clothing which is now stained.
Otherwise the food was good. My family enjoyed their meals.
