The food is pre cooked, customer service trash. Poor customer service
Had a delicious meal of salmon with rice and pernil mofongo. Friendly service and nice vibe
They were talking about me in Spanish. Called me a monkey because I was eating my pork with my fingers.

Tried this location for the first time. It was like a Wednesday for dinner and I did take out. Service was good, food was excellent I got the chicken and rice. Large portion sizes. It was delicious and yes I would return, pricing wasn’t bad either under $20

Waited for over an hour after we ordered and they kept delaying and we never got served. We walked out after about 1 and 1/2 hour. Didn't spend any money because we never got served

I have visited this restaurant a few times. The food is always great and the service is nice. If it’s a line it depends on the speed, can be a bit of a wait but it’s worth it.

As a proud Latina woman in my late 30s, I was genuinely excited when I heard a Spanish restaurant had opened in the neighborhood. Walking into Mangu for the first time, I was impressed — the decor is beautiful and inviting, and I even had a nice conversation with a young man who helped decorate the place. The vibe had so much potential.
However, my experience with the service, especially at the bar, left me disappointed. I absolutely love piña coladas and was told they had them. But despite being the only customer there during a quiet time, the bartender refused to make one, saying it was too much work and I should come back another time. I did — and unfortunately, got the same response.
It feels like unless you show up with a big group or for the late-night party crowd, the service is simply not there. As someone who values friendliness and good customer service — and who supports local businesses regularly — I was really hoping for a better experience. The female staff didn’t seem welcoming, rarely smiled, and I never felt that warm, hospitable energy that I believe is the heart of any good restaurant.
I gave two stars because of the decor and potential, but honestly, I left each visit disappointed. I truly hope the service improves — especially for locals like myself who want to support something that reflects our culture.
Employees kind of got an attitude, but the food more than makes up for it. More than satisfied every time. Always clean, always fresh, always hot.
