Steak quesadilla is good, as are plates, but probably the worst tacos I’ve ever had. Drinks are done well, and I like that they are a later night spot on Park Ave.

Came here for margs after grabbing dinner next store. It was pretty dead. There were 5 of us, we only got drinks (2 of us are pregnant so we only got a mock marg) and we were charged 20% gratuity for a “large party.” I have served in the past, and this generally applies to 6+ that are actually eating? Felt pretty deceptive. On top of that, the place smells like sewage- possibly a drain issue. It was actually so bad that it is the reason we left. I used to really like this place. Bummer.
My girlfriend’s too sweet to leave a negative review, so what’s up??
Told the server 3+ times about a food allergy, they screw up and it comes out wrong, which she then took a bite out of.
“Unbelievably rude” manager, slammed the updated check down on the table without even making eye contact.

Impromptu date night! this place gets 5 stars and then some! Best Mexican we’ve had so far in town. Best cocktails (an apple bourbon tequila margarita??? And a tequila coconut espresso martini???) and the best waitress/bartender ever named Desiree, who we will be seeing more of in our future 😊. She cared only about making our dining experience memorable and fantastic and they should take good care of her as she’s a stellar server. Thanks Desiree for giving us a great date night we’ll remember!

Completely changed their menu in order to reduce cross ‘contamination’ for “gluten free” clients. Very weak, portioned cocktails that you will pay a premium for though they are below average at best, and contain no liquor.
No thanks, won’t be coming back and for the price, you’re better off hitting Silver Iguana, Monte Alban, or Adellita’s in Pittsford

Extremely disappointed with the direction this restaurant has taken. They decided to remove their best-selling item, the chimichanga - the one thing most people actually came here for, in order to keep their fryers gluten free. Absolutely absurd to alienate the vast majority of their customers to cater to a tiny minority.
Completely tone-deaf decision that prioritizes an image over customer satisfaction. It seems they’ve lost touch with what made them successful in the first place.
Until management realizes they’re driving away loyal customers, I won’t be coming back. Two thumbs down.

Great service, drinks, and attentive staff and waiter. The food is made to order, and things like heat level, or what you don't want on your tacos, for example- is able to be individualized. The fresh made salsa and chips are fantastic, and they make the best wing dip I've had (Bills game night). We'll be back-

My husband and I have been coming to dorado for years; we love Dez and whenever we have gone there it has always been a great time. Unfortunately they changed the menu and it is honestly crap. I don't know why they would change a good thing, I always got the shrimp tacos and my husband would get the mole. There is no mole now and they changed the shrimp tacos completely. Thank god the queso is the same. My husband and I were regulars but unfortunately we will have to find a new taco spot if this is the direction they are heading in. Sorry Dorado, we love you but we are incredibly disappointed.

Filthy Bathroom with no soup. The kitchen appeared to be in the basement next to this bathroom.
Very pricey Tacos. I had a burrito, which was ok. I was really disappointment it did not come with any sauces as it was very dry.

Service was terrible, first time this had happened in our many visits. We waited over 50 minutes and had to go inside and ask a bartender to flag down our waitress as we hadn’t even placed an order. The quickest service we received all night was getting our check. Hope this doesn’t become the new norm!

the salmon was yum and lit tasted super fresh and was cooked perf. it was also massive tbh. the avocado with it was a must and the caramelized onions and rice made it all into one good bit although it does get very savory after awhile. but the salmon helps since there’s so much of it and the flesh is soft and mild. there’s so much the red powder on the tortilla chips made them so beyond spicy for me and i honestly think i would have rather been slapped than handle the aftermath of the spice attacking me afterwards but that’s just me. the waitress was so attentive and nice and i bet she makes a lot of tips. she offered to take the chips off. the vibe outside was rlly chill and i took my time without feeling rushed even tho i prob took a lot of time. fresh fruit marg was average. thanks dorado!
