The food was beyond my expectations as someone from Rochester recommended me the place as a "casual one" for locals. I noticed that in part it was true, mostly for the long wait to be seated and the number of clients trying to make a reservation. After half an hour we were eventually enjoying the food. All of the choices were flavorfull. Everybody was delighted with the very well presented dishes. The affordable prices and the attentive, kind servers made the wait worth...
This place is great. There is only one person taking care of the bar and restaurant but he did a great job of managing both. I eat here everytime I stay in Rochester and the food and beer are always wonderful. I really enjoyed the Mahi tacos and the Jambalaya plate. I would definitely recommend.
Was in from out of town, along with another actor friend of mine (who is from NYC) and I was desperately looking for some place that was not only open on a Monday but that also had good food! Drifters was perfect! Even better, they have poutine (which is a slice of home for me, being Canadian)!
