The service was great and the prices seemed very reasonable. Some of the food we had was excellent (the salmon in particular), the pork chops were fairly juicy but could have used some seasoning before cooking, and the chicken french over pasta had an usual taste (it seemed too vinegary or something). Overall, I'd definitely consider it if I was back in the area, but I wouldn't make a trip to eat there.

Although we've lived near Rochester for years, we'd never been to East Ridge Diner — until my nephew invited us to meet him and his family there for breakfast. The parking lot was full, so I was worried we'd have a long wait. I didn't realize how HUGE this place was inside. It's twice the size of the diners we usually go to. No wait at all. Everything was great, including the prices. We'll definitely be back again.

Been eating here several times a week for years and after tonight I will never return. 2 of the 3 entrees were never even put in by the waitress. While we watched my 10yr old daughter eat her dinner the waitress proceeded to bring other entrees that we didn't even order. When the bill came the waitress told me even tho we didn't order the food she brought, she couldn't take it off because it had been brought out. I payed the bill for food we didn't even order and left that clown of a waitress a tip anyway. They've lost my business, and I will devote the rest of my life to telling people not to eat here!

It's an all-American diner so expect to get solid comfort food. Nothing special or gourmet but solid diner fare.

Slow sometimes invisible service. The food was average at best, and kids were climbing all over the booths while there. We had to search for our waitress twice as she forgot our drinks and then disappeared after food was served and we wanted the check.Vegetarian options: Friend ordered vegetables and asked if they could be fried or grilled as she is vegan. They brought her a very small bowl of cold vegetables for $4.

We are visiting from Long Island NY and this has got to be the best diner food I have had up here. Amazing and so delicious!!! I had the Swiss burger with onions on toasted rye bread… it was the best patty melt I have ever had…. Coleslaw had pineapple in it and was absolutely delicious!!!! Can’t say enough good things about this place besides wishing they had a location on Long Island!

The floor is very slippery in the back. They claim they can't fix it. Feels like grease on the floor.Update: 9/25/2023I don't know if there's been a change in the Manager but the restaurant seem to be a lot different. Great customer service and the food was great as well. We had the Country Fried Steak with Gravy. The gravy was seasoned well but was a pinch sweet in my opinion. It call with eggs and I asked for over medium and they come over easy but they tasted so good with my mable rye that I didn't complain. Home fries hit the spot eveytimeVegetarian options: I seen a few options on the menu.
