In early 2023, my friends and I tried more than a dozen restaurants to find the best empanadas in Rochester. El Sazón was the best by a mile, and we’ve been loyal costumers ever since. My absolute favorite item on the menu is the stew pork, and this is the only place that I prioritize eating at when I come back home over the holidays. Very delicious well seasoned rice pork was nice and tender and tasty. Plantain cooks nice and sweet. Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Got a medium plate with a drink and side and spent less than 20$. Great little spot for a quick GOOD bite to eat!!
1st time visiting and won't be my last. The food was perfectly cooked and the portions were huge especially for the price. Was busy even for 2 o'clock in the afternoon when most restaurants slow down which shows how great it is.
