The food was very good and the service was good. However, sitting upstairs, the room is way too loud. It was hard to hear the people at my table. This was not the first time that I noticed this.
The food was excellent! Our pizza and special entree (chicken with sausage and Gorgonzola) were incredibly delicious and we can't wait to return to repeat this order and try new items. My only complaint was I explicitly requested to pay the bill when I made a reservation (this was supposed to be an anniversary dinner for my parents) and my parents ended up paying as the server wouldn't take my card. This was disappointing, especially after sharing that it was their anniversary and I wanted to pay.
Server was extremely confused and unable to help with the menu. Gave us questionable facial expressions when we asked her questions. She seemed uncomfortable or maybe new. The food was great and the guy that would bring our food out was extremely friendly.
This restaurant is a hidden gem! The ambiance, the food & the service were all top notch. Our server, Maria, was friendly, helpful and always smiling...even when we asked to be moved to a different table. The place was bigger than we expected. There are 2 floors plus outdoor seating. The parking lot in front is kind of small, but I believe you can park across the street. Their menu is extensive & unique and they have creative cocktails to imbibe. We were a party of 4 and every one of us loved our meals (we all ordered something different). Fiamma Centro is highly recommended! We'll be back!
Waitress announce she was new Asked her to notify Giuseppe that would like to say HELLO. nephew HAD WORKED FOR HIM FOR ABOUT A YEAR. now GONE back to Italy. She told us she did not want TO get into trouble. Chair was broken at table next to us. Informed staff and they replaced immediately. When my appetizer dishes were removed also took all silverware with them. Very noisy. Did not like that with skirts on we were sitting at an open balcony seen from below My clam sauce was so dry pasta tasted like cardboard.
Food was great and service was too. However it was so hot inside the restaurant that it made for a disappointing evening. Very hard to enjoy our meal. Definitely will not eat there again in the warmer months.
Extremely Disappointing The air conditioning was broken and we were told by the staff that it has been broken for 6 days !!! How is that possible as a business/restaurant in a city with many options to service AC. No matter how good the service or the food. None of that mattered, when the dining conditions are in the mid to upper 80's. It was soo uncomfortable, we could not wait to get out of there. It over shadowed everything else. Sadly this was a special occasion dinner and I am really upset at the restaurant management. I am not sure they should have been open ! at least have some portable AC units or close the upstairs. Bad job Fiamma !!
My pear salad had too much dressing and very expensive for what I got. The upstairs dining room where we sat was adorable yet hot. As more people arrived for dinner, it became hotter. I broke a sweat eating dinner.
Food is outstanding, one if not the best in Rochester. Our server was fantastic. The menu is aw some, place is truly phenomenal and the food was superb!!
Went in to celebrate my birthday with my wife and friends, loved it! Sure it was a warm day in June and they have a 1000 degree oven, but I wouldn't have had it any other way! Our food as usual was phenomenal, the squid ink risotto, the veal parm, the meatballs and the chicken special were all perfect and delicious. The drinks from Danny at the bar were expertly crafted and hit the spot. Thank you for another wonderful birthday dinner to all the Fiamma staff! I truly appreciate it!

Food was outstanding- homemade, authentic Italian cuisine with very generous portions. Good wine selection, nice ambiance. Our server left a lot to be desired. A young woman with quite an attitude, who boasted that she's worked at the restaurant for a long time, but then had little knowledge of the food and beverage menu. Ugh. We were clearly putting her out by asking what ingredients were in food specials to accommodate a dietary restriction. I truly hope this restaurant thrives based on the food quality, however it is apparent that good help is hard to find.
Good atmosphere, upstairs especially. Downstairs could have a better feel its various parts. The little space for outdoor seating was full and vibrant. House salad for four was a stretch, more like 2-3. Greens were a bit wilted. Pizza was in fact not the best Neapolitan one could find in Rochester, a bit damp and chewy crust. Cauliflower pasta was good and rich, but exceptionally large - now *that* could serve 2-4! The restaurant could benefit from smaller plates $10-20. People could try more things that look intriguing on the menu. The quality is above average. I'm sure we'll be back.
Great first experience. Everyone in our family of 4 found something they liked to eat. Great service. Cute restaurant! Highly recommend.
Beans & greens, pasta and risotto dishes were excellent. Portions are very generous. We took home 1/2 of our meals.
Would be 5/5 stars if we didn't see the brunette man who worked in the kitchen outside smoking a cigarette and picking his nose for a consistent 5 minutes without washing his hands before delivering our caprese salad. We didn't ask for a side of boogies. Washing your hands should be the bare minimum & required in any restaurant setting. I would think that's a no brainer for anyone digging for gold around food.
