The food is the only thing that's keeping this place hanging on by a thread in my opinion... The ambiance of the place is that of a middle school cafeteria. If you're looking for quick food, look again cuz this place is not it. I placed an order online to which the app replied it would be 15 minutes until pick up time. I showed up 20 minutes later only to wait 40 to actually receive my food... Terrible wait times half of my food was probably sitting out waiting for the other half to be finished anyway so I'm sure I'm going to have to reheat some of it... Not happy I would not recommend this place

My favorite place to drop by and have delicious sushi rolls
I’ve ordered from fishface a few times, dine in once or twice and also take out for the first time tonight. This place doesn’t miss. Irondequoit so badly needed a good sushi spot and fishface is it. The sushi is consistently fresh - the tuna mango roll is to die for. Their dumplings/gyoza are really good too. So tasty, fresh, and quick. Highly recommend!

Wow. We have had Fish Face a few times and it's mostly been great. Super long wait times tonight, sushi cut by Freddy Krueger and it was falling apart. Hugely dissatisfied.

It does the job I guess. I love all sushi even very basic ones. This is definitely not high quality sushi and the options are not that impressive. I’m disappointed in their specialty rolls range. Their sushi caters to a certain demographic, it’s not authentic. Cream cheese, fake crab and shrimp tempura plagues all of the options. What even is a bagel roll? Cream cheese in sushi is blasphemous and what is wrong with western cuisine. As for the hot options, delicious! Teriyaki is solid. Gyozas are solid. I would’ve given a 2.5/5 for the sushi but the other stuff is solid 4/5. I’ll always still come back because it’s my favorite thing to eat when I’m at the wine bar nearby.

great spot!! we were at i-square for lunch for the first time the other day & i was really impressed with the place overall & this vendor specifically!
we had a tofu rice bowl, ramen, & boba!! everything was great & my rice bowl was huge & quite cheap for how much you get! will definitely stop back!!!

I ordered $90 worth of food and it was all subpar and I’m super sad based on all of the reviews.. I went with high hopes and left with disappointment. I went today on Tuesday and it was empty, nobody waiting for food lol. I ordered the Volcano Roll and Bagel roll since they were rated so popular and the bagel roll was super fishy tasting so we stopped eating it to avoid any issues.. the volcano roll was good but it was REALLY warm and has raw fish so that can cause bacteria growth.. NOT GOOD! The ramen had almost no flavor, it tasted lord like water than anything and the cuts of pork belly were sooo thick that it was huge chunks of fat, please cut them thinner! The steamed buns were so over steamed that I couldn’t get them off the container without them falling completely apart and the soup dumplings we all stuck together in the to go container so they just ripped apart and the soup spilled all over. The Scallion pancake had SO much grease that it was pooling in the Togo container.. it was so badddd!
The only thing we really liked was the teriyaki chicken which is insane since this is listed as Japanese for sushi and ramen… super disappointed. I hope it was just an off day for the restaurant but I don’t think we will ever go back now..
