What do I recommend about Flat Iron? First and foremost the owner is like an extended family member to me and my family so I may be a bit biased, fyi. Still, even if you are a complete stranger, I have seen firsthand how everyone is treated as if they were family and as if they were at home.

Dropped in to see what it would be like on a Thursday. Francis, a local salsa dance instructor, offered us a few free lessons while we drank some watermelon drinks the bartender whipped up for us. This is a nice place to stop by and enjoy with friends and I'm sure you may catch Francis one of these days.

I am surprised to see no one has written a review for this little gem in town. It is not in the best of locations, but a fantastic little get-away, with latin music, dance floor and a bar. They do have drink specials and salsa dance lessons for free on Thursdays. I used to be a frequent dancer, but have not been here for quite some time now. However, I recommend the place highly.

Cafe food... so good. Visited on Sat I believe. The service here is better than most. The bill won't shock you. Menu is like a cafe in Indianapolis I loved.
