Probably one of the better places to eat at the Rochester Airport?
While not a ringing endorsement given the competition , at least it has fast attentive service and diner type food along with drinks as you prepare for a flight ✈️

Worst diner in any airport in America. Ordered the avocado on toast, it had the thinnest layer of avocado ever. Ordered eggs over easy, they came out overcooked and hard. Not to mention airport, gouging crisis! Much better choices of dining in the Rochester New York airport.

Tomato soup was just pasta sauce, grilled cheese sandwich consisted of cheapest white bread you can buy and American cheese - and we paid over twenty for just that. Horrible food, terrible price.

Snarky..asked for an espresso martini.. didn’t have the ingredients. I get it. However there is a menu when you walk in.. so I order bacon. The server response.. “the kitchen isn’t open which is why there aren’t menus on the table.” Maybe customer service should not be your main source of income

TLike many airport places, just alright.

In the middle of this quiet yet busy airport, you will find a retro-styled diner. Playing on the jukebox
A real, personal airplane in apple red is suspended over the booth area. The atmosphere is modern meets old-school with large comfortable booths; not the things in Denny’s where you sit down and the seat sags into a hole you can hardly dig yourself out of, especially after a hearty breakfast. Bonus, there was plug for my laptop at the booth. Yay!
The tables and floors were clean as if it was just opened vibe. The restaurant was self-served from placing the order to paying the bill, yet my food was delivered with a smile
The menu has a few options so don’t expect variety but it caters to a specific branding.
I ordered a simple BLT, hold the mayo, with fries and an old-fashioned cocktail.
The app had issues but Craig was able to take care of my order and payment without an issue or me repeating myself.
The bar had all the old-time favorites as well as some new crafts. I was pleasantly surprised at the bartender/server’s execution of my old-fashioned drink. Craig clearly knew what to do. I say this because most bartenders I have run into don’t even know how to make an Old Fashioned and, after they look it up, they always make it just plain wrong. Thank you, Craig! The food came quickly and Craig delivered it to my table. Served hot, perfectly cooked, and picture perfect. Bravo to the chef. I know it was a BLT, hold the mayo, but you don’t know how many times the bread was soggy or the fries were limp. Not at the Flight Deck Diner! Bread was crisp, fries were too and piping hot, and the bacon was crisp yet not oily in the least. My fries were unsalted and that was perfect.
If you got a moment, stop by the Flight Deck Diner in Rochester NY. Grab an old fashion the way it should taste and enjoy.

Order number 49883451 took over an hour. When asked the server he said sorry K can’t help it and after said his cook was not here. There was also no order being followed for the orders as other tables got their food earlier then us despite ordering much later. YES, can’t help it and turned his back on the client.

Stopped here to finish up work for the day before catching a late afternoon flight. Excellent service, pretty decent burger. :

Just fine for a breakfast sandwich. Generous helping of egg and cheese on a nice roll. Overall it was good and the tots were very tasty.
They lose a star because even for airport food it's expensive, coming in at around $18 after tip.
The bar is kind of uncomfortable to sit at due to how far away the seats are and how there's no foot rest up along the bar. Makes eating a bit awkward.
Great service and nice atmosphere.

If I can give no stars I would! I just went an purchased a soda and the guy acted if I was a bother to him. I handed him the money of course he didnt hand it back he put it on the counter, yes I'm african american and he is caucasian. Just said a pray for him because at the end of the day he has to answer for his wrong doings.

I arrive at the table attempted to order using the barcode and it didn’t work. I sat there for 10-15 and the waitress (Suzi) never asked if I need help or wanted to order any food. Meanwhile she cleaned tables and help other patrons ignoring my table. I refused to eat where I have to beg for simple service.

Closed at 5:25 on a Friday….guess I’ll never know how good their $18 fried frozen cod is.
Absolutely the worst chicken Caesar salad I’ve ever had in my life. Even the iced tea is awful. That’s impressive, honestly.

How can you put this kind of money into renovations and serve that food? Its part of a vacation or an experience and should be the best. I love hanging out in airports but not in Rochester! Also we have the same checkered floors at home. When you first install them, the grout leaves black marks. The ONLY way to remove this is diaper wipes and elbow grease. Take the time to do this because your floors look filthy and disgusting. Also your prices are NOT NORMAL!!! When you spend more on Nachos and a drink and it costs more than your flight. You need to figure it out. That's not value!
