My mom (mid 60's): "This is the best ham and cheese croissant I've had in my life". And she's a well traveled woman. Guess we'll be back soon! ?

Flour City is my go to spot for all my pastry and bread needs. In particular, I love the pastries. When I’m needing a quick breakfast, a good mushroom danish or a spinach and feta croissant goes a long way. But your classic plain or almond croissant is also so, so good.

The Cruffins with apricot and creamy filling are out of this world and the pizza is like my mother made ?

This bakery by far the best one in the Rochester area. Everything they make is so delicious. Especially the croissants! They are the best!

I really love the goodies here! Favorite items: - Cruffins - favorite flavor has been a salted corn caramel one. I had to have the employee explain it to me, but I was intrigued enough to get two. That was a good call. You really can't go wrong with any flavor though. - Chocolate pistachio croissant - Some Concord grape and peanut butter thing (tart?) that I bought on 10/7/23. Holy cow. Where has this been hiding my whole life?! Service moved very fast even though the line is typically pretty long. Wait it out--it's worth it! My only complaint is that the glorious cruffins really need to be packed better (not waxed bags). I've had some...incidents...while transporting them back to Syracuse. At the very least, they should be packed separately from any other bakery item. No pictures because of said Cruffin incidents or they are gone too quickly

Croissant was fantastic, and also the only bakery I've seen in the area to offer cannelés! Very impressed.

The best artisanal bakery in Rochester. The pastries deserve special recognition with the spinach and feta croissant and the mushroom danish being notable stand-outs.
Fantastic shop. Tried a cruffin, croissant, and a bagel & all of them were amazing. This place reminds me so much of an awesome bakery back home - and I haven't been able to find anything as good since I moved away. Until now!I'll definitely be back here!

Oh my gosh!!! The Focaccia Bread is heavenly! I could eat a whole loaf in one sitting. I would travel from Utah to Rochester just for the Focaccia. Mmmmmmm! :)

Sausage egg age cheese croissant was phenomenal. More flavor than any breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. Shoutout to the Reddit thread from 2022 on top breakfast sandwiches in Rochester. Solid.
