Best coffee in Rochester! My fave place for a specialty bev. I appreciate the minimalist vibes and love that they regularly have ridge donuts in the sweet treat line up 🤤 nice place to do a little work or for a chat. I appreciate that they don’t blast music super loud, I find it’s a bit quieter here than in other coffee shops around town.
Fuego has super good lattes; I really enjoyed my salted caramel latte. It’s a decent calming atmosphere too. I thought it felt a bit industrial and could’ve used cozier chairs or something, if I wanted to spend a lot of time here. I was also surprised by the lack of food on the menu; it looked like they didn’t have any food except a couple pastries in the cooler. Overall a nice spot to grab a drink or chill for a bit though.
The coffee was quite ok (a latte and a breve cappuccino), absolutely acceptable, but not outstanding. The milk part - perfect and pretty, the coffee itself - just ok. Supposedly Columbia, but no acidic flavor.
It is a good place to sit and work or study.
The location feel “in the middle of nowhere”, albeit just a couple blocks from downtown.
