My friend and I were eager to try this new restaurant out today. We're glad we did! We both enjoyed our meals. She got the soup which she said was delicious. I got the rice and beans and they didn't disappoint! I also got a hot chocolate which was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the space is cute and clean. I definitely want to come back and try some other menu items, including the waffles and Mac and cheese.

I tried Funky Cow on Park Ave for the first time, and I can’t wait to go back! The staff were friendly and helpful, and service was super fast! I had a trash plate which was a big bowl of comfort. Portion size was great, and the food came out hot and fresh. The latin influence on the menu is perfection! Looking forward to trying other menu items soon.

I took my friend here for her birthday and it was both our first time here. We had the trash plates, they were so good! The portion was good and I didn’t feel too heavy after finishing my food. The plate had lots of pork, rice, Mac and cheese + lettuce ????. Ricky and the team were so fun to be around too! We’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu!

Hey Rochester folks - you MUST try Funky Cow :-) I typically write reviews only if they are worth it - and believe me, Funky Cow is! I give a "5" when a restaurant hits all the marks - delicious, homemade food, phenomenal service and great atmosphere - and Funky Cow checked them all. I'll start with the experience - - I went with a friend because it is a lovely day and we decided to try out Funky Cow based on a tip - as soon as we walked in, the young man at the counter was attentive and walked us through the menu. Ricky, the owner, made sure to come over (to each table) and his passion for what he is doing, his extremely positive personality and general care for his customers shows. The place itself is bright, airy, clean and welcoming. And the food - WONDERFUL. My friend had the Trash Bowl Salad - which was lettuce, rice & beans, Mac and cheese, pulled pork and BBQ sauce. It looked AMAZING and she loved it so much that she got a to go order to bring home. I had the lettuce wraps because I wanted to try the spicy cabbage slaw - and it did not disappoint. A perfect combination of spice, guacamole and demiglaze to complement the chicken all wrapped in lettuce leaves- served perfectly (so I didn't need to assemble). Surprisingly, neither of us had a waffle sandwich but the couple sitting near us told us that they had the Lola's Cuban and the Bangin' Brisket and they raved about each - saying they'd be back this weekend (which is tomorrow). Ricky gave us both a sampling of his home-made ice cream - so creamy and delish. I am going back soon for the Apple A-La-Moo sweet waffle. So, if you are in the Park Ave area - stop in. If you aren't - drive down and stop in. I am certain you will leave a little happier than when you enter. That's the sign of a good business.

This place is a little gem. I had the bbq pork and coffee. The bbq was fantastic. It is served on a light crispy waffle (but not a sweet waffle). So good!

Wow! I had such an incredible experience at the Funky Cow on Park Ave. The food was made from scratch and prepared to perfection! The vegan and gluten-free waffle sandwich was scrumptious. I loved the attention to detail and the service just puts this place over the top. Highly recommend!

Went at ~2:00p on a Saturday; were able to order immediately and had our pick of seats. Space was small but not too cramped. Unsurprisingly most of the decorations were cow-themed. Everything was clean. Ordered both the Funk'n Chicken and the Bangin' Brisket savory waffle sandwiches. They came in about fifteen minutes, maybe less. Both very tasty, but I think the sauce on the Funk'n Chicken made it the better of the two.

Went there yesterday and it was amazing. The owner was very welcoming and helped us pick out a great meal. We had the chicken salad waffle sandwich and the apple a la mode waffle. They were so good I did a happy dance. Reccomending to my friends and will be going again. Thanks for a great lunch!

My wife and I came to this place on accident. We walked by this on the way to somewhere else. I said let’s check this place out. Omg. The Cuban and the apple waffle are amazing. The owner Ricky is just as amazing as the food. Stop driving by and check this place out. You won’t be disappointed.

It’s a flavorful experience. Bangin Brisket solid choice the waffle substitutes bread to also make a lite sandwich. It’s a must tryDietary restrictions: A lot of gluten free options.
