Not many food places that blow you away but the steak sandwich at G+G was incredible! Tons of menu options but had to try the signature steak sandwich. Staff was friendly and they make the sandwich fresh right in front of you. You can personalize the sandwich and I ordered mine with sauteed mushrooms, onions, cheese, lettuce, jalapeno peppers, and banana peppers. Got my sandwich to go and the portions were plentiful and the sandwich was one of the tastiest I've ever had. This place is a gem and I can't wait to go back. Huge addition to the Rochester food scene!

Steak sandwich was phenomenal! Ratio of meat to bread was perfect. The roll was delicately soft and also held the sandwich together nicely. Portion size was great. I am a very large man and was full when I left G&Gs, which for me is a rare occurrence. Restaurant was beautiful, clean, bright, and the logo/branding is the best in the city. Service was quick and the staff were friendly, smiling, and very welcoming. Samples of Mac and cheese were handed out which also tasted amazing and authentic. I would love to try more of the menu but it will be hard not to order the steak sandwich again, too damn good not to order. Although I didn’t have it, the $7.50 special of the day with meat, 2 sides, and a pop is more food (that is real legit authentic food) than you can get anywhere for $7. And to finish it off, we had the homemade banana bread pudding. This dish was bursting with flavor and was the perfect dessert to finish off an amazing meal! I will be back often.
