I tried Galicia for the first time last night and I cannot recommend them enough! Their service, efficiency, atmosphere, and most importantly THE FOOD (!!!!) -- WOW. I have not had audible responses to an entire meal perhaps ever? It was outrageously amazing. Please go support these incredible folks - their heart and dedication is so reflected in the quality of what they do.

We ordered to go and oh my god the food was amazing. My grandmother was from the Ukraine, she sadly passed several years ago and I have not had good holubtsi since. That is until I tried Galicia! They were so good, just like she used to make.

The pudaheh (varenyky) were also amazing, along with the sauerkraut and sausage. The prices were very reasonable and the portions large.

The young man who helped us when picking up was very friendly. Thank you!

The atmosphere in the restaurant was very cute and welcoming. Perfect for enjoying a meal.

Already planning our next visit! Thank you so much, it is wonderful to have Ukrainian food in Rochester.

I had the pleasure of dining at Galicia Ukrainian Café, and it was an unforgettable experience! The cozy ambiance, friendly staff, and authentic dishes transported me straight to Eastern Europe. Their borscht was flavorful, with just the right balance of earthy beets and savory broth, and the pierogis were soft, perfectly stuffed, and served piping hot.

A highlight of my visit was the farmhouse pancakes—absolutely delicious! The taste was incredible, with every bite bursting with rich flavors, and the presentation was outstanding, making them as beautiful as they were tasty.

If you're looking for comfort food at its finest, Galicia Ukrainian Café is the place to go. I can't wait to return and explore more from their menu. Highly recommend!

Wonderful meal! Prices are reasonable. My husband's parents came from Ukraine and his mom was an incredible cook. Galicia was a great tribute to her and even better with their potato pancakes. Service was exceptional and they were helpful with explanations and recommendations. We will be back and bringing friends and family with us. Call and reserve a table to dine in.

Website never recommended a reservation-was denied a table despite open tables. IF you decide to eat here-reserve first.

I can't think of another restaurant where literally everything I have tried (maybe 1/3 the menu so far) was amazing. Staff is super friendly and passionate about the food as well. Just absurdly good.

Food is great! Lots of non Ukranian choices too if you have picky kids. Don't miss this Rochester gem.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty options, but it's a small restaurant so not great for rowdy kids. IMHO

We were there for dinner. Small, cozy traditional Ukrainian food. Service was fast. Server pleasant and helpful explaining menu items. The food was delicious. It had a comfort food feel. There was a ton of DoorDash / Uber going out the door.
Breakfast choices looked yummy.

This place is amazing. The food is great and the service is the best I have experienced - they are very friendly and attentive, and they take the time to tell you the history of the different dishes. I can't wait to go back! Also, if they recommend a dessert- get it!

Our server held our hand as we took our first steps into Ukrainian food, despite a number of top dishes selling out (great sign) we landed on a terrific combination of dishes to pair with excellent drinks. We are very excited to return and try some of the dishes we missed out on today!
