We came within an hour of closing on a Sunday and they were setting up for a party after, but they welcomed us in and we're happy to serve us. Both the service and food were good. Exactly the diner experience we were looking for!

What a nice little treat on a cold day. I had some time to kill before a meeting, so I popped in for a quick breakfast.
George's is a great family restaurant. When you walk in you can immediately see how clean and spacious the dining area is.
They have a fairly large menu, with some great selections. I opted for the chicken fried steak with sunny side up eggs and home fries. It was cooked properly and very savory. My waitress, Stephanie was bubbly and attentive....

It caters to a lot more older folks and families rather than one or two people just trying to come in to have a quick lunch... There were plenty of tables open but nobody paid attention to me in the waiting area and I waited a good 10 minutes while they just talked to the other guests instead of even acknowledging I was there...very pissed off. Only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is I went here one other time and the food WAS genuinely good when I actually got my table. Now...
