I agreed to meet a friend here because this is her favorite restaurant. I wasn't in the mood for breakfast, so I just ordered a cup of coffee while she enjoyed 2 beef sausages, scrambled eggs, and raisin toast. She said it was quite delicious. When I first sat down, the lady at the front who greeted me with a smile and warm hello came to the booth with a menu. She came back a few minutes later to take my order, but I only felt like a cup of coffee. She immediately brought my coffee. She seemed to be the only person serving since we were the only customers that Tuesday morning. And, each time, she was smiling!!This is a restaurant my husband and I could come for breakfast or lunch. I will plan to return soon.

Hey guys, it’s your friendly Syracuse University food critic here. I came to get a pastrami sandwich and i was severely DISAPPOINTED. My friend got a chicken cutlet and there was an unimpressive amount of chicken. I’m talking one McNugget worth on half the Sammy. Adding insult to injury, The prices are outright ridiculous for what you get. The employees are very disrespectful and not worth your time or money. The cashiers wear these racist hats too. Stop acting like someone you ain’t. Flip the script.

The food was ok. Eggs were good. 3 slices of bacon. The homefries were not tasty. I didn't eat them. I will not be going back. The service was nice, though. I just had a basic breakfast, so I'm not sure how the other food was.

Food is great, always fresh, and most orders are received within 10 minutes of ordering. Salmon cakes are made from fresh fish and taste amazing. Their grits and beef sausage are also made very well. Way better quality good then chain places like ihop, food prices are super cheap, I can sit in there and have a full breakfast and two drinks and spend less than $20 also a great place for family breakfast/lunch/brunch Monday-Saturday. Dont hesitate to give them a try you won’t be disappointed

Parking: Located behind the diner and there is a ton of parking
