It seems they frequently overbook their reservations. We arrived right on time and were asked to wait at comfortable tables in the lobby. After waiting quite a while, we were asked if we would accept ordering and eating in the lobby. There was another pair already eating, so we assented. And shortly after we sat another couple was encouraged to join the Eat in the Lobby group.

Had a wonderful dinner Sunday evening with family and friends. Food was very good and service was even better. Our server, who was also serving as the bartender, was incredible. Friendly and seemingly always present despite having to maneuver both the bar and several high tops in the bar area. We had an excellent meal (Rigatoni all Utica was excellent) and a great time thanks to her. We look forward to our next trip to Rochester.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Grappa. The food was excellent and the server was attentive. It was nice to sit outside but our table did back up into the parking lot - that would be the only negative. Otherwise we had a great experience!
