My finance liked his plate but I did NOT enjoy the grilled chicken sandwich. I ordered it with no bun, toppings and a side of home fries. The chicken was stringy & seemed as if they order frozen chicken breasts to re-heat. It was extremely off putting. I’ve never eaten stringy grilled chicken before. Additionally, the tomatoes seemed as if they were on their way out. They tasted rancid. Home fries were good but it’s also hard to mess up frozen potatoes in a fryer. I wont be returning 🤮

We were up for parent weekend at RIT and my stepson told us that garbage plates are a thing in Rochester, so we decided to try the plates at Henrietta Hots. We didn’t know exactly what to expect, and all 3 of us got different meats and sides to try it out. I got a burger with fries, Mac and cheese, and their house sauce, my husband got sausage and steak with macaroni salad, hash browns, mushrooms, and house sauce, and my step son got pulled pork with Mac and cheese, fries, and house sauce. Maybe I should have tried the macaroni salad, but I’m not really a fan of macaroni salad, which is why I did the Mac and cheese, but the macaroni and cheese was sort of bland and tasteless… it didn’t add anything at all to the dish. The rest was pretty tasty and was a ton of food, none of us finished it. The house sauce was kind of spicy and not what I was expecting but was good. I’d go back and try a different combo next time we’re up visiting.
This place is awesome. All the staff are great. The food is to die for and there is plenty of variety if you're not a plate person. This is the best plate in Monroe county. I highly recommend you try them out.
