Love this place! Such a Rochester staple. I dream of their waffle with sweet cheese. Wish they still served IBC in a bottle.
Everything you could want and more in a classic old school looking diner. '50's atmosphere with a kicked up menu. Creative well prepared food and delicious shakes are your choices in this bustling little diner. My New Orleans Skillet was savory spicy and loaded with shrimp and andouille. Our companions enjoyed a scrumptious Nutella shake, Lobster Benedict and eggs over yummy homemade corned beef hash. I get the feeling you can't go wrong with any choice here. The only drawback was the wait (30 mins) on Memorial Day morning, but it was understandable considering what a great way to start the day it was.
Stopped in for breakfast, old school diner.
Food was delish, service was great!
It's a great place to eat and it's very popular and sometimes you have to wait for a while but it is worth the wait.
Worth the wait. Just a cool experience, vibe and staff is quick. Food is what u expect. Milkshakes outstanding.

I was looking forward to checking this place out until this young server made a huge sigh as she sat us. Word of advice to customers: don’t show up an hour before closing, or they will make you feel like a nuisance. She even commented about it to us and the other staff!! As some of us arrived, she loudly told her coworkers, “Well, I thought we were going home early..” unreal!! Then, she said something about it being a long day and wanting to go home, and then we showed up, and she had to stay longer. It was highly uncomfortable and rude. What a horrible way to treat customers. She also commented while laughing to someone about how bad some previous customers smelled and how she could smell them from the kitchen! I’m genuinely shocked at the good reviews. BTW the food is just ok. It’s hard to enjoy when you feel rushed to leave. I don’t care how good the food or decor might be. The service made us feel unwelcome, then verbally confirmed that our presence was tolerated! This place is extremely unprofessional!!

Visited the diner today on 11/19/24 around 10am for Breakfast. My eggs Benedict themselves were amazing and the service was nice. I got a slice of bumbleberry pie to go as I had to get back to the hospital to meet my Mom out of surgery. Once I got back to the hospital I opened the container with the pie only to discover it completely dried out, old & stale, and with MOLD!! Completely unacceptable. The mold on it was evident and very noticeable there's no way the server "missed" it because I saw her do a double take which at the time I just assumed she was making sure she grabbed the right pie. Server was tall, curvy build, long brown hair pulled back in a pony with glasses...She was very nice however failed me by giving me moldy penicillin pie....I didn't bring it back because it was a couple hours after I had left and was already back to the hospital and I live 2hrs away so I'm not from this area....but to say I'm extremely disappointed is an understatement given the fact I'm 8 months pregnant and was really looking forward to trying this pie lol
