Rochester take note please as a Google Reviewer with as of Today reaching A yes 100,000 Reviews this by far is the BEST ENDING 2025., upon entering the RESTAURANT the ATMOSPHERE of Holiday cheer Spirit of CHRISTMAS WAS IN THE BUILDING OH YEA NOT KNOWING THE OWNER WAS CHECKING ME OUT CHECKING THIS WELL POLISHED EXTREMELY BEFITTING RESTAURANT NOT ONLY DID IT SAY WE HOOK IT & WE COOK IT. PROUD SCHOLARSHIP ENDURANCEMENT HUNG HIGH SEVERAL ACKNOWLEDGING OUTSTANDING ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE. MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE AFTER BEING A SAMPLE PLATE, I WILL BE BACK AS THE TERMINATOR SAID....CLEAN WELL STOCKED FAMILY FRIENDLY INSIDE SEATING A 10. My first time here and last. I requested double fries in replace of the Coleslaw. Hardly that, the Mac salad was warmed up, yuck. Fish was ok, No tartar sauce or hot sauce was available.

Was very upset and not happy with the food. I received the wrong order. I asked for fish and shrimp combo but only received 15 fries, 9 shrimp and macaroni salad that tasted old, tartare sauce taste old. The only thing tasted good on my plate when I got home was the french friesand bread and that’s what I paid $21 for. I will not be returning there to order food ever again, and if I was you, I advise you not to waste your time more money or taste buds.

I came in today for the first time. The staff/owner was very welcoming. The customer service was impeccable, right when we walked in. The menu was clear and straightforward. But the food y’all… OMG!!! If you got a big back like me, go and get you some food from here. I’ve been around trying a lot food from Rochester but here? Right off the bat I knew the vibes were right.
I got a catfish special with baked mac and cheese, dirty rice and baked beans and my boyfriend got the haddock special. Let me tell you, it tastes just like home. Also, don’t forget to get y’all something sweet. Their coconut and lemon cake, to die for. Go and give them your support! By the way, all next week they’re having wings for $1.

I went in for a DoorDash. I said the spot looks nice inside and asked how long he been here. Dude gave me a sample of food. I came back that same day and got me a fish dinner. Food was fire. Def a black owned spot that needs to be shouted out. 💯 for the food to still be that fresh when I was there at open time and came back 9 at night to order myself some food. Yea they doing the right thing in that kitchen. 10 out of 10.
