Very nice coffee shop with very good and strong coffee drinks. Not a ton of super sweet style drinks listed. Staff were excellent and many people working, but not many outlets. Upstairs was more comfortable for seating didn’t have food but options looked good and case looked good. Parking tough by dogtown but plenty of off street parking if you don’t mind a short walk. Liked the “window frame “ art.

I’ve been in Mexico for almost 2 weeks and tried a new spot every morning, and Hydra STILL has the best ice latte I’ve ever had.
Forever loyal to my ice latte with oat milk and mocha at Hydra
Today was my first time here and I’m super impressed. The baristas were so nice and my latte was amazing. Whatever beans they use are top notch. I got a breakfast sandwich and my wife got the pumpkin coffee cake. Both were fantastic. Probably my favorite coffee house in the city.

This place is tucked in Monroe avenue next to Dogtown. The entrance is not obvious.
Cute little coffee shop with a few vegan options. I had the vegan breakfast sammy and an oat chai latte. They also had a vegan cinnamon coffee cake muffin that looked delicious. It was quite busy on Sat at 11am, but I was able to find a place to sit and relax while I ate and read. Updated from previous review on 2025-03-29
yeah.. not my cup of tea. not many options, no space, not kid friendly, even the customers. “interesting line today. lots of kids.” lots of immature adults today. idk i wouldn’t come back. the pastry case was empty but it is 12 pm so that’s not exactly their fault
Kid-friendliness: no..
Wheelchair accessibility: no

I don't head out for coffee much. This is where I go if I do. Tumeric Latte and my handmade pie. My friend's Tumeric Latte and apple crumble muffin pictured.
