Food looked like it was thrown together. It was auto be a happy face, instead it looked like someone broke it's fae 8n half and scrambled it

Omelets, pancakes, and coffee were awesome. The person who served us was good. One star less because when we went in, the staff was going through a shift change. The outgoing staff didn't want to seat us and made us wait. That's wrong.

I would like to start off by saying that I have been to this IHOP location before and didn’t have any issues. Today was different. I had my bonus sons with me for lunch. The waitress came and took our order. Shortly after she took our order, we heard her and the kitchen staff and possibly the manager arguing. They were screaming and swearing at each other. The dining room was half full of people, including several children. When she brought our drinks back, she only brought two waters instead of three. One of the boys ordered a milkshake, but she said she had to go make it still and she had to go get the ice cream for it and all the other ingredients. I’m not sure why the weight staff is responsible for that. I would think that the kitchen staff would be. When our food arrived, part of my order was missing. I ordered a side of hashbrowns with my breakfast burrito. The waitress handed me pancakes instead. I told her that I didn’t order them and she said they came with my breakfast, but they were not mine. (I discovered later when I got the bill that they actually belonged to the breakfast that one of the boys ordered.) I asked her if she could bring me a side of hashbrowns and she said they would be right up. She never brought them. She also never returned with more coffee, which I did ask for, but I have never had to ask for a coffee refill there before. When she brought the check, the hashbrowns were still on there. I asked her if she could take them off the bill because I never got them. I also asked her if she could bring one more carry out box. She was clearly annoyed by my request and snatched the bill off the table and walked away. I heard her talking to her manager about The hashbrowns and he told her just to take them off the bill. When she returned with the readjusted check, she slammed it and the carryout container on the table. She walked away and came back with a paper bag. She opened it quite aggressively, and dropped it on the floor next to one of the boys. The fact that I spent $80 for food that was subpar, not so great service, and a terrible atmosphere does not sit right with me. As I said, I’ve been to this location before and have not had any issues. Every other time I’ve been there, the staff has been friendly and accommodating, and the food has been very, very good. I’m extremely disappointed by today’s visit and honestly may never come back again after that. Food issues aside, there was absolutely no reason why any of those staff member should’ve been screaming and swearing at each other in front of a dining room, half full of people, including children. It was extremely unprofessional and uncalled for. I understand the frustrations of working in food service because I did it for many years, but there is a time in a place for that type of behavior.

I'm still waiting on my food but I ordered delivery through the website and when it wasn't updating (nearly an hour later) to anyone picking it up I called to check on it (the website shows DD doing the delivery but only gives you the store as a help option). Instead of having any conversation or being any help, whoever was on the phone passed me to someone who spoke over me telling me to deal with it because they don't personally deliver never letting me actually ask a question or state my concern, then hung up on me. Coincidentally the website updated during the call that someone was heading to pick it up, but I've no idea how fresh my food will be at this point. Terrible customer service. I deal with customers all day and would never.

The worst experience on my trip to Rochester, very bad service, the waitress took our order and never passed it to the kitchen, and after a long wait, finally my plate arrived and not my husband's, so we proceeded to eat that plate together, they don't have the slightest idea of meat terms (Sirloin) and also in the eggs I got a ball of something strange that was not edible. Terrible service and bad head chef! 🤢

The food was very good and everything, but the waiters gave very bad service. I won't go back again and the food was very expensive.
We had Brandon as our server, best server at a diner I’ve ever had and one of the best just in general, I’ve been a server forever and it was awesome to get great service late night in a diner setting which I almost never experience. 10/10 Brandon pay this man 30.00$ an hour

Waiter took too long to even acknowledge customers. Good is always incomplete and waiting takes forever to even check in to make sure it’s all good. Terrible customer service.

We went to the Irondequoit, NY IHop recently for an early morning breakfast and will not go back. There was a significant size group teens hanging out in the restaurant not eating, but not leaving. The manager was very busy with phone/ online orders, so she didn't have time to check out what was going on with the young people. We stayed and ordered a meal of eggs, that was good enough and booked.

The place is never full or busy when i go but it takes a while to get sitting. Once sat is always a wait to get the order. The food is ok most of the time

This place is nice and quiet the man probably is that it’s freezing no heat on. The older caucasian lady seems racist every time a black person walks in she gives them to the other server.

The restaurant was cold!🥶 Our waitress was nice enough but her apron, and shirt were DIRTY. She was SLOOOOOW & unorganized. I don't know if she was new or not, but DANG! ALL of our food was COLD 🥶. I was extremely disappointed. I have NEVEEEER wanted to skip out on a bill in my life...but this morning I REAAAALY wanted to. Do better with your hiring & employee expectations IHOP! Presentation is EVERYTHING...that goes for your employees as well.
Sincerely, unhappy & NOT satisfied!
