Closed and impassible at 6:00 am on a Tuesday morning in July. Annoying!
Peace of mind this is the place.

Connect the bridge year round between Irondequoit to Webster, then it’s a five.
Great place to walk and get fresh air. Pretty views. The beach needs a combing tho from all the debris.
Beautiful view of the water. Just keep in mind, that the bridge closes at the end of March, and opens at the beginning of November.

Wish this was available year round!!!!
Picture of the Irondequoit Bay Outlet Bridge. The Irondequoit Bay Outlet Bridge (IBOB), located at the north end of Irondequoit Bay, spans the outlet between Lake Road in the Town of Webster and Culver Road in the Town of Irondequoit. Annually, the bridge is swung into place for use by motorists 5 months out of the year (November 1 - March 31) and swung away in to storage to open the channel for boaters 7 months out of the year (April 1 - October 31).

What can I say, it’s a dope bridge
It's great to visit when the bridge is closed during the summer.
The bridge is never open just pushed to the side
Really great bridge, what more can I say
This is a seasonal (Winter) only bridge November 1 - March 31 (Dates adjusted when those dates fall on a weekend). Avoid any driving directions that use the bridge at any other time of the year. You will be forced to drive around the bay. At present (2021), there is no funding and no plans for a replacement or year around bridge exist or are anticipated.
