This food was delicious!! I just moved here from queens and I haven't had anything I really like. Today I found it. I ordered a bunch of food and when I got it it was hot crispy not greasy it hit all the spots. The portions are generous and idk what they do with that shrimp but it's soo good!! Very happy, and thanks!!

The 1872 Cafe is on the site where Susan B. Anthony illegally voted in Rochester almost 150 years ago, and is a warm, welcoming and inspiring place. I thought for them being out of everything my fish and shrimp would be decent... Shrimp yes and Mac and cheese.. fish definitely not quite small don't look like pictures online... Mad I live far from them... I'm a food critic and I'm definitely disappointed

Food was on time through grub hub and everything was delicious. I could do without the batter on the jumbo shrimp I love the cornmeal batter on the fish just wish it was a little more seasoned and wish my fish had the cornmeal batter but will ask for that next time. Love the seasoned fries and the haddock dinner on grubhub said it came with 3-4pieces but I got two but that was fine. The perch was good also but I prefer the haddock

Wouldn't go back, bad business. Order a $6.00 fish sandwich and got a container of fried batter. Instead of offering something else because they had ran out of fish i was sold batter. They should be put on the business of shame list.
