This definitely not Chaufa and the chicken is flavorless totally disappointed they js make chicken but they don’t even know how to do it. They gave me a chaufa with peas ????? I’ve never seen a chaufa with peas that’s js doesn’t make sense at all. NOT PERUVIAN FOOD AT ALL

An okay option, but my wife is Peruvian and I've been to Peru a handful of times, eating in Arequipa, Ica, Cusco, Lima and a few rural locations and this is more American tasting than Peruvian. The aji sauces are okay but nothing like the real stuff. Wish they had Lomo Saltado esque options. Not a bad spot to pick up a Chipotle-esque bowl but I wish it was *more* Peruvian in flavor even though it's impossible to recreate here due to lack of fresh and homegrown ingredients.

So I slid into Just Chik’n on Jefferson Rd not expecting a whole spiritual experience, but wow… that Deluxe Chik’n Sandwich did not come to play. I went spicy, ditched the tomato (because I have taste), grabbed some potato fries, a side of spicy mayo, and a Schweppes Ginger Ale to keep it classy.
Bro… that sandwich was crispier than my WiFi at 2AM. The spice hit like a friendly punch in the face, the bun was soft like a cloud, and the fries? Chef’s kiss — golden, crunchy, and perfectly salty. The spicy mayo deserves its own mixtape, honestly.
Service was fast, the food was hot, and the whole vibe was chill. No drama, no soggy fries, no regrets.
Final verdict: 10/10. Would 100% risk my diet again.

Firstly I really like Peruvian chicken and it’s super common in the south. What a mistake coming here was. Arrived about 12-1230. They had to make sure chicken was done. Ok that’s reasonable. While waiting I noticed one of the employees eating in the food prep area with gloved hands. In what bizarre world is staff allowed to eat using the same gloves they prep food with. I had to request the green and yellow sauce (first place I’ve ever had to pay extra for green sauce with Peruvian chicken but what ever. I opened up the rice and looked like a toddlers smash birthday cake. I honestly have never seen rice look like that. At this point I just gave up and walked out. I regret not taking pictures. If this is what management and owners tolerate for standards pretty sure someone will get food-borne illness eventually eating here.

I went here today and loved it. My sister eats here often and recommended it to me. When I walked in I wasn’t sure what to order. The man working noticed, explained the menu and gave me his recommendations. He was very friendly and welcoming, he seemed like possibly the owner.
I ordered the machu bowl, with rotisserie chicken and verde sauce as he suggested.
The food was fresh, healthy and delicious. Restaurant clean and staff friendly.

yeah everytime i call there’s this girl who always picks up the phone with the most RUDE attitude ever. she wears a scarf on her head all the time and she is very rude and she was never nice to me or my coworkers at all. i’ve complained multiple times and i’ve never gotten any better customer service. this so ridiculous!
