Kandi is definitely highly recommended...The owner is super sweet. She's super helpful & so accommodating...Delia allowed our party to have a small surprise gathering on karaoke night and it was just perfect. Karaoke night is definitely something to check out. The food and drinks are absolutely amazing...GO CHECK THEM OUT!

The food is AMAZING! The fish, hush puppies, and wings are the best I’ve had in a LONG time! The manager, Greg, and bar tender, Deliah, are the best. They are very attentive and accommodating. The drinks are super tasty and made RIGHT! Please come and order. You won’t be disappointed!!

On May 10,2025 we end up stopping at Kandis for dinner. When we walked in the barteder/waitress Delilah was very welcoming. The fish and shrimp was the #1 dish. The fries wasn’t as hot as I would of liked but all the other food was nice and hot. The music sounded great. Delilah made us feel at home and when I’m ever in Rochester again I will stop bye. I would also like to give a shout out to the security guard who walked us to our car.

I had the most amazing time ever here today. The food was top tier along with the service and the vibe. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I will def be back! I felt safe and comfortable. From the drinks to the dessert, I was blown away. I enjoyed the fish and shrimp combo with Mac& cheese and greens. I love Kandis’s and will be back!

New to the city, this place was the perfect for having a nice late lunch. We had the biggest pieces of fried fish, covered our whole plate, and shrimp that was easily the size of 3 regular shrimp per piece. They described their Mac salad as some of the best and they weren’t kidding. Truly an up and comer :)

This was my first time at Kandis’s and it was such a great environment! The food was good. I had the pork chop, macaroni and cheese & collard greens . Delia was at bar and was warm and welcoming. This is the OMG! Of everything soul food. This is the only place I'll ever eat at when I'm looking for that down home touch. Haddock, Shrimp, Mack & Cheese, Collard Green Combo; is the real deal. Sorry to break your hearts. But this is what food and drink was and is meant to be. Kandis's has not only raised the bar, they snapped it in half.
