Absolutely love it here! Owners are amazing. So kind and attentive to our family. I have dietary issues and the owner remembered me and made sure I was taken care of! My family craves keep it rollin allllll the time!Food is amazing and fresh as well. Try the trasher plate!

Gyoza were pretty tasty, not the best we tried though. The rolls we tried were okay, but far from best. California roll doesn’t even resemble Californian California. Doesn’t look like one, doesn’t taste like one and doesn’t smell like one. Somewhat dry and strange. In comparison with sushi spots in CA this one loses on many fronts. The products are fresh, and sushi with smoked fish were quite original.

Everything was mediocre. The miso was bland. We ordered a few things, and certain things were coming out before others. I had got my food. I didn't want to eat until my husband got his food. We waited about 10 min for his Maria sushi. I had shrimp tempura and the miso. They need to work on timing with the food. People want to eat TOGETHER at the same time. Keep hot food hot and serve it together. We have a sushi spot we like to go to already but wanted to try something new.

My co-workers and I tried this place for the first time during our lunch hour . We waited for about 40 minutes for our food. Between the wait and travel time , our lunch was over by the time we got back . I don’t know if this is average wait time , but I should note that a staff burned her hand which could have cause the very very slow service . I would recommend pre-ordering. The staff was very friendly and apologetic for the very long wait . My sushi was disappointing though because the rice was undercooked. It was very al dente. It just threw everything off because I couldn’t get past the crunchy rice .The place was very clean and welcoming. May have just been a one time bad experience . Not sure if I’d try again .

The food took forever to come out and when it did, it was not good. The best part of the meal was the water. Rochester has a lot of good sushi places, so look for other ones before coming here.

Just ordered a few orders of smoked salmon nigiri to take back to work for lunch, and was so disappointed. The rice in each piece was actually hot and by the time I got back to work, which is only 2 min drive away, so was the salmon. Also the smoked salmon was def not fresh and tasted/looked like the kind of smoked salmon you would put on a bagel, not sushi. When I order this anywhere else it tastes refreshing and crisp but not here :( anyway, super disappointing. To top it off, I asked if there were chopsticks in my bag before leaving and they assured me there were but there weren't. Soy sauce was not good either.
