This is got to be Rochester's best kept secret: King Food Restaurant. The food there is great, fast service and very politely and professionally attended. You will get plenty of food at a reasonable price. The attending ladies will greet you with a smile and ensure they get your order correct every time. Very happy customer here who visits them weekly.

Ill tell you what the food was OK the first two times I went. BUT the will randomly up the price! I got large orange chicken, large lo mein, and a large pork fried rice. This was Sunday nights both times and the total was a flat $28. Yesterday Saturday 7/29 at 4:50pm I called for the same thing and it was magically $35!! I argued with them and they said “I give you dollar off” which immediately let me know they were playing games. There’s another review on here where someone mentioned they add a $6 “tax” on fri-sat and Im here to confirm it. Again the food is edible but keep some sesame oil, mirin, and soy sauce on deck to make it what it’s attempting to be.

I get the same order all the time. Someone else answers the phone and now I’m missing shrimp. I call multiple times they finally answer and say the never charged me for the shrimp. But I pay the same thing every time I get the same order. The man on the phone said “ yeah the owners probably not going to do anything about it anyway”. Then I hear talking in the background “she lie, she lie she lie”. Than hung up on me. I won’t be coming here again. Situation could’ve been handled differently. With better costumer service. I had to call back “ we didn’t hang up you hang up “
