Never would have expected such a great restaurant in a strip mall. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Definitely will be back. Filet mignon was the best

Very Dark restaurant and the food was ok. Risotto a little under cooked and salmon glaze no real flavor. Our server was delightful though!

Just an outstanding dinner. I recently moved to the west side of ROC and sniffed this place out for my wife and I to take our cherished friends to. Something about the menu and the vibe just told me that we should try it. Just, wow. Our friends live right on the west coast, and they said they've possibly never had better calamari. The table bread was great, almost like a sourdough ciabatta vibe. I got the short ribs, a dish I'm no stranger to, and they were phenomenal. Our party of four was extremely happy with the quality of food for the value, and would absolutely recommend.

Horrible. This used to be one of my favorite places but I’ll never go back. Food was terrible. Had to send my entree back after one bite. Very expensive for the poor quality of food & small portions! I paid over $50 without having an entree.

Six of us went to celebrate a 90th birthday. Our server, Kelly was friendly and attentive without hovering. She treated the one child with us with respect also.We were not rushed in any way. The meal choices and portions were excellent. Nice to find a restaurant where you can easily converse in normal tones.

Great meal! Haven’t been here in years and just as good as I remembered. Definitely less time between our next visit.

When we first walked in it was about 59° in here. My wife had to put on her jacket. The Coca-Cola was flat so I had to switch it out for a ginger ale. The clams casino had a weird sugary taste that I've never tasted on a clams casino before with rubbery clams and sand grit. The filet was tasteless and not very tender. Ordered it with the sauce on the side and it came buried in sauce. The bread was crispy, I mean really crispy but still tasted like flour or dough. The service and the short ribs were good, but the atmosphere sucked. All the locals were at the bar hooting and hollering while we were trying to enjoy our dinner. It was over $100 dinner. That's the last dime they'll see from us

One of our favorite restaurants and it's local! Last night our food didn't disappoint. Our waitress was attentive, the bartender made perfect drinks and the chef made us amazing food!

I have lived off Fetzner Rd most of my life and had never been to the lamplighter, until tonight. I was out with my aunt, who hadn’t been here in 40years, and she suggested we grab dinner here. I immediately felt underdressed about the situation but our sever, Holly, said it was a very comfortable and casual atmosphere and not to worry. (My aunt of course immediately says “are we dressed ok?!” When we walk in because I was self conscious about my hoodie and sneaker 😅)

Despite such a comfortable and casual approach the atmosphere was still so charming and cozy. Holly also provided 5 star fine dining service! As a bartender and former server I can appreciate the attention to detail while never being up tight.

I ordered the gnocchi and my aunt got the chicken French. We also split a bottle of Mark West Pinot noir and really enjoyed the fresh, hot bread. 10/10 experience , I can’t believe I haven’t been here sooner and can’t wait to return!
