This is the only place to get that perfect char broiled burger. I've been going here since I was little. I also brought my kids when they were little. This is a tradition in my family and will continue to be for as long as they are around.

great burgers....even greater onion rings....good selection of burger/hot plates: includes your choice of meat and sides. the onion rings are fresh cut, delicately battered and fried to order. there is counter and table service...located on the north end of Lake Avenue...within an esay walking distance to Charlotte Beach....a good spot to stop during the bustling summer season.... parking on-site but maybe limited during peak dining hours.....

Pretty good food, atmosphere is lackluster, kitchen seems to be run my teenagers. Food was still fine. Definitely a diner atmosphere and great spot for cheap fast breakfast.

Never have a bad meal at this place and have been going on and off since 2013. (I had moved and am now back again for a travel assignment). Love the old school diner feel/“greasy spoon” feel of the place. Didn’t know they changed their hours so we got there in time before their closing at 3pm on Sunday. Portions were huge and my husband was pleased as this was his first time. Great view of the water and friendly atmosphere. Love the chili sauce they make and condiments you can put on your food. This place never disappoints and prices are decent for the portions.

Hot beef sandwich with fries n gravy. Tasted amazing. Great portion size. Meat was on the tough side, but it was actual meat not processed deli roast beef but very thin sliced steak.
Love it here! My family has been coming here for years. One of the waitresses actually knows us now from going so often! The steak sandwich is the best on the menu!

I come form Florida to visit, and that one of the first places I go! I love the hot-sauce! I hope they do an update on the inside a bit, its pretty dated, but the staff is efficient and the food quality is great. Its also very nice to put as many pickles on your late as you wish! I have gone there for 30 years.
