This is the only place to get that perfect char broiled burger. I've been going here since I was little. I also brought my kids when they were little. This is a tradition in my family and will continue to be for as long as they are around.
great burgers....even greater onion rings....good selection of burger/hot plates: includes your choice of meat and sides. the onion rings are fresh cut, delicately battered and fried to order. there is counter and table service...located on the north end of Lake Avenue...within an esay walking distance to Charlotte Beach....a good spot to stop during the bustling summer season.... parking on-site but maybe limited during peak dining hours.....
Never have a bad meal at this place and have been going on and off since 2013. (I had moved and am now back again for a travel assignment). Love the old school diner feel/“greasy spoon” feel of the place. Didn’t know they changed their hours so we got there in time before their closing at 3pm on Sunday. Portions were huge and my husband was pleased as this was his first time. Great view of the water and friendly atmosphere. Love the chili sauce they make and condiments you...
