I came here on a recommendation from a friend. It was very good but not great. I ordered a rum cocktail that was delightful along with a papaya winter salad and duck ragout special. I sat at the bar. The place was jam packed with people. The salad took almost 40 minutes to arrive and the meal took an hour. That was understandable given the crowd. The salad had amazing flavors but was just a bit too spicy for me. I like spicy too but this was more than I like. The duck ragout special was delicious but way too salty. I am also a salt lover so this was surprising. The waitress comped my drink which was nice because of the wait. I really want to go again because there were lots of things I want to try. I just need to plan a much more leisurely dinner and go with a friend. It was too dark to read a book.

Came for a pairing dinner with Living Roots. Food was amazing and service was great! Can't wait to come back and try the regular menu!

My current favorite restaurant in Rochester, and my default to bring visitors to. They always have delicious and creative menu options, and a roster of staples that never fail. The binchotan pork belly should be a mandatory inclusion in every order. Their cocktails are also great, and they do fantastic mocktails if you don't drink. Eating at the bar is a lot of fun with a couple people, but for a group I would suggest requesting a table as far toward the back of the restaurant as possible.

Great food and staff in the most unique atmosphere on Park Ave. Definitely worth making the reservations to sit at the chefs counter. Drinks are a little slow coming from the bar.

Interesting atmosphere, nice thematic menu, excellent vibe with lots of energy, intimate dining room. Server wasn't knowledgeable about the menu or very attentive to ensure the beverages were received before the food.

Best new spot in Rochester without a doubt
Dined here with our adult children, who like to
take us to new places that we would not ordinarily go to. Looking at the menu I was not sure that it would be my favorite, was I wrong! The dining room in the back is adorable, and we appreciated having plenty of room to sit comfortably. We ordered multiple dishes to share and to be honest they were all very good. Gabrielle was our server and did a great job of making sure we ordered enough food & checked on us just enough. I highly recommend checking it out!

This place is not very good. Food is incredibly bland and expensive. First and last time here.

Our waitress had no idea what was going on and left us hanging for at least 30 minutes. Their pickle shot was just straight vinegar. Very disappointing considering how cool the restaurant looks.
