I came here on a recommendation from a friend. It was very good but not great. I ordered a rum cocktail that was delightful along with a papaya winter salad and duck ragout special. I sat at the bar. The place was jam packed with people. The salad took almost 40 minutes to arrive and the meal took an hour. That was understandable given the crowd. My current favorite restaurant in Rochester, and my default to bring visitors to. They always have delicious and creative menu options, and a roster of staples that never fail. The binchotan pork belly should be a mandatory inclusion in every order. Their cocktails are also great, and they do fantastic mocktails if you don't drink. Eating at the bar is a lot of fun with a couple people, but for a group I would suggest requesting a table as far toward the back of the restaurant...

Interesting atmosphere, nice thematic menu, excellent vibe with lots of energy, intimate dining room. Server wasn't knowledgeable about the menu or very attentive to ensure the beverages were received before the food.
