Lots of room for improvement.Positives- fish and shrimp cooked wellNegatives- poor quality pasta, poor quality breadUnderstandable- prices were higher then expected given portions but newer restaurant, opened during a pandemicThe saddest part- tiramisu came with Hershey's? Chocolate syrup on top, and the top cream layer was almost gummy in texture ?Side note- no liquor license, neither here nor there just to be noted

We dined Friday evening, celebrating a birthday. They informed us they were out of Salmon (2 places on the menu) but had Sole and Swordfish. The birthday girl ordered Sole (which she loved) and another member ordered the Swordfish (and also loved it). I ordered Antipasto Italiano, which was excellent and enough for perhaps 4 people to share without spoiling dinner. The rolls and butter were good. Our waitress was very friendly and provided good service. I ordered Spaghetti Pescatore, which should come with calamari, clams, shrimp, mussels & salmon. I could not detect calamari and we knew they were out of salmon. There were a lot of teensie clam shells, whose contents were difficult to find. The mussels were large and tasty (and still in their shells). The shrimp were fairly large and also delicious. I had the red sauce, which was thick, plentiful (which I like), a little spicy (which I also like), and moderately tasty (I like somewhat acidic tomato sauces). All of the seafood was covered in red sauce, and so I had to pick up the mussel and clam shells with my fingers to remove their contents. The shrimp still had their tails' shells (and sometimes parts of the bodies' as well). More saucy fingers. The waitress said there'd be more of the "other seafood" to make up for what was missing, and I think there was. I finished cleaning shells just about the time others were finishing their dinners. My wife had Cappellini Checca. which she said was very flavorful and a little too oily. The main dining area is a little noisy. Luckily, we were seated in this little nook with 2 neighboring tables. The sounds of the main area were somewhat muted, and conversation was easy. The walls are covered with pictures of the chef with famous people. We were sitting next to pictures with Sandra Bullock, Chevy Chase, Eric Estrada, and Pat Morita. When the Tiramisu dessert arrived, it had a candle for the birthday girl. Nice touch. One member said the Tiramisu was the best she'd ever had.

My favorite style of chicken parm that I can only find here locally! The Antipasto Salad is also a personal favorite. It’s large enough to eat as a meal, but also great for sharing. The Tiramisu is the best I’ve had and the cannolis are great too.

GO HERE!I thought I was eating at Patsy's in NYC!The food and the ambiance reflects the passion of the owner chef that is cooking right in front of you and would be happy sit and talk if he has time.I don't know why he decided to open around the corner from my house but I could not be happier being a city boy that used to live near Rocky's and Roncone's. This rates with the great local Italian Restaurants like Agatina's and Papa Joe's. Great prices also!GO HERE!

1st time at Mammas, my husband enjoyed his chicken parm. I had the fettuccine with shrimp and it was very good! Shrimp were cooked well and Alfredo sauce was rich and creamy. The reason I only gave 3 stars was the bread, actually the stale roll that was served. Those first little things are so important as they set the stage for the experience. Italian restaurants must have a fresh bread. I hope they will consider this feedback.

We knew a new restaurant just came to this location, so we tried it out. This will be our Friday night dinner place FOREVER! The food was excellent; our server was TOO fun! The atmosphere was cozy, and they’ll be getting a liquor license soon. We would give it 10 stars if we could! Welcome to the area!!

The two stars are for the Greeter! Very nice sweet person and the somewhat nice ambiance of the place. Went 1st time tonight really wanting to enjoy a good Italian dinner. I am sorry but, it was NOT Italian sauce. I honestly couldn't figure out what the taste was..only that it was awful. No garlic, no Italian seasonings, etc. Couldn't even taste tomatoes. The server seemed rather new at his job, he made a 2nd trip to us to tell us that salad didnt come with the meal. But would we like to order it. He was fine, just needed more experience. We said no for the salad. He brought us 3 dinner rolls ( no Italian bread at the Ritorante) and 3 pats of butter. The rolls were ice cold. We waited quite a while for our meals, but that was ok too, things like that happen for various reasons.. Another woman brought our food to us.. laid them down in front of us and offered nothing not even a smile. As she was walking away, I asked her for more rolls, she brought back 2 more and no butter, I then asked her for more butter as well. This lady obviously didn't want to be there. She seemed put out from the moment I asked her for the bread. She did bring us 2 pats of butter.. We didn'teven stay for coffee. We were honestly afraid to try it..for the taste, probably being cold and grumpy service. Very sad experience. Dont like to do bad reviews. But this experience left us no choice...

I ordered takeout for chicken parmigiana. I was told it takes at least 30 minutes to cook so come in 45 minutes. I set a timer for 35 minutes and I showed up to it sitting on a counter, just cold. The reason I’m not leaving a bad review is because the food absolutely made up for it. The sauce, the pasta, and even the homemade dressing was just awesome. I heated it up when I got home and was just as good as fresh. I would just think work out the kinks. It takes 30 minutes when sitting at a table? I think there’d be more angry people. But no bad review from me. The food spoke for itself.

We started off with the calamari. The calamari was cooked perfectly but the dipping sauce was served ice cold. I ask the if they could heat up the sauce for us and they told us, "that's how it comes". They seemed to be a little insulted that we ask to warm up for us but, they finally did. Then we had our salads which only comes with a house dressing with absolutely no flavor. It might have been just straight olive oil. We both ordered the chicken parm. Sauce was bland. We wanted to order garlic bread to stop up the sauce and was told that they don't serve garlic bread. They brought us a couple of dinner rolls fresh out of the refrigerator. They were ice cold. We being still hungry we decided to try the Tiramisu. It had a very grainy consistency. I couldn't finish it. I can not see them lasting to long. It was Friday night around 7:30pm and the place was at about 20% capacity.

Recently brought my mother and kids to dinner. I heard some good reviews so was excited to try. The shrimp in the scampi were delicious and tender! The weird part was that they advertise it as a wine garlic sauce but there was NO wine involved. The calamari was amazing! The rigatoni Bolognese was subparat best. The sauce was a complete joke and tasted like tomato soup. My family are true Italians and this was NOT good Italian food. I don't mind paying money for good dinners but $75 for this meal was about $50 too much. What a shame.

The Pollo Dello Chef was DELICIOUS!! I should’ve taken a “before” picture but I couldn’t stop eating it! Flavorful and not too salty. We got takeout and it was ready for pickup in less than 30 minutes, which was impressive for a Friday night mid-dinnertime. Will go back!
