So happy to see Mr. Matusciello opening up Casa Saratoga Bakery. Have missed the delicious breads and baked goods. If you haven’t stopped in yet, you need to!

For anyone who mourned the loss of those delicious Martusciello rolls and baked goods, great news, the bakery reopened now as Casa Saratoga. The lights were on when I drove by there recently, so I stopped in today to see what was going on. A very friendly woman greeted me and went on to tell me that some of the same people are making many of the same type of rolls and baked goods as they did when the bakery was operating as Martusciello's. And the prices are still very reasonable like they were before. A bag of six delicious Italian sandwich rolls costs just $3. Try getting THAT kind of deal on fresh baked rolls anywhere else, including Wegmans. Seriously, if you've missed those delicious baked goods from Martusciello's, your prayers have been answered. Enjoy, and thanks for reading!

I discovered this bakery online. I grew up in an Italian neighborhood in Endicott, NY and I was actively looking to find a place that resembled the bakeries of my childhood to get “the best” rolls for my child’s special day.

I visited this store in person when it was recommended by the owner during our first phone call. When I arrived, the woman who I spoke with to place my order was nice. The owner did not speak to me. I ordered rolls for our party (a week ahead). She quoted me $20 (AND she double checked her math!). My husband picked up at scheduled time a week later under my name. He was charged $32. No explanation for the 50 %+. increase. I immediately tried to call to figure this out. Nobody picked up. I called repeatedly. Customer service was almost as disappointing as the rolls. .

I was looking for sandwich rolls and they had exactly what I needed and the right amount. The smell in there is so amazing, that I had to get a small pizza too, which was excellent! The owner was super friendly and I'm certain I'll be back for more baked goods soon. A real gem.

Just Reopened with the Same Great Bread . No Subs at this time but currently just a 2 person operation - Go Buy some Rolls and Help them succeed. The Best Bread in Town ! !

Closed--permanently. They tried to re-open during the pandemic, but, sadly, they are no more. Try across the street at the grocery store, but Martusciello's is closed.

Best pizza dough in Rochester. Obviously, the yummiest rolls. Everything is delish, the cookies, the stuffed breads, etc. So bummed they are closed, possibly permanently. Please come back!!!!

We have been buying our bread here for years, spending at least $500 over the holidays and yesterday my fiances phone was stolen out of his car. We asked the owner to check his cameras and he refused to twice. We said we would have to call the police and file a report and were told "do what you have to do". This morning when the police went to ask for the camera footage they were told he wasn't in. This is very sad how regular customers get treated over the holidays. The staff was very helpful and sweet but we still don't have any information who stole the phone out of the car.

Drove an hour today to get subs for people. They don’t have subs anymore, just round rolls. They don’t have pizza boats. No fresh cold cuts. Basically just bread. They should at least post something on website or Facebook. They said they changed about a month or so ago. Due to cost. Understandable but At least let people know. Very disappointing and very sad.

The disappointment is REAL!! We have purchased rolls wholesale from here for over 10 years. Over the last year the quality has gone way down hill. Underbanked rolls, overbaked, inconsistent size and shape and a MASSIVE price hike to boot. Time to find a different bakery!!!
