Closed--permanently. They tried to re-open during the pandemic, but, sadly, they are no more. Try across the street at the grocery store, but Martusciello's is closed.

Best pizza dough in Rochester. Obviously, the yummiest rolls. Everything is delish, the cookies, the stuffed breads, etc. So bummed they are closed, possibly permanently. Please come back!!!!

We have been buying our bread here for years, spending at least $500 over the holidays and yesterday my fiances phone was stolen out of his car. We asked the owner to check his cameras and he refused to twice. We said we would have to call the police and file a report and were told "do what you have to do". This morning when the police went to ask for the camera footage they were told he wasn't in. This is very sad how regular customers get treated over the holidays. The staff was very helpful and sweet but we still don't have any information who stole the phone out of the car.

Drove an hour today to get subs for people. They don’t have subs anymore, just round rolls. They don’t have pizza boats. No fresh cold cuts. Basically just bread. They should at least post something on website or Facebook. They said they changed about a month or so ago. Due to cost. Understandable but At least let people know. Very disappointing and very sad.

Love this place. The Subs are hands down the best around. So much to offer as well. With their signature bread. And baked good.ty casa

I don't know if this place changed owners or what!!!They used to have the best turkey sub in ROC!Now their menu is reduced to almost nothing! Not open on Sundays anymore!Very sad changes

The disappointment is REAL!! We have purchased rolls wholesale from here for over 10 years. Over the last year the quality has gone way down hill. Underbanked rolls, overbaked, inconsistent size and shape and a MASSIVE price hike to boot. Time to find a different bakery!!!

Very disappointed that they no longer make subs. They were excellent. Also, on the last two visits the bread was not up to their old standards. I hope they rethink and make a comeback.

Look this place up online and then walk in you get 2 totally different places. Went in for lunch to try them out and the young lady took my order and I even paid for that order then she came back and said they didn't have what I ordered and if I wanted something else , I said no and got a refund. Looking them up to check out their menu before hand and the menu I saw online was not what they had when you walk in , it's a piece of paper taped at the counter with a few things on it . When I ordered the sub they tell me all they have are just round rolls no long rolls which they had about a hundred laying around on multiple tables so little confused by that one. I think they need to just stick with just baking bread and not serving food cause obviously they can't do both. So needless to say I won't be going back there.

Martusciello's Bakery is no longer at that location. No info on what happened or where they went , front door is locked. Current business at that location is called "Casa Saratoga " mainly selling bread & rolls thru side door mainly to wholesalers , although retail is still available. Will greatly miss the old Martusciello's---!!

My burger wasn’t cooked enough so the owner decided to tell his employee to put it in the microwave. The employee proceeded to put the entire styrofoam container in the microwave for several minutes which was a fire hazard to their store and also managed to completely overcook my sandwich until it was as hard as a hockey puck. Usually they have pretty good food but whatever happened today is unacceptable and downright disturbing. Make sure you keep an eye on what they’re doing if you’re in there cause who knows what they’re doing to other peoples food.

Best bread I have ever tasted. Their round rolls are the perfect lunch and are loaded with meat. The pizzas are delicious too. Everything is so fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend trying the Italian bread.

Food was good overall, i ordered a sub, however they could of put more meat on it. My only complaint would be the owner walking around the patron side of the business barking out orders( raised voice/yelling) to his employees while customers were shopping about. His employees were already assisting those in need. I felt this was very UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE! Beside the covid 19 distance of 6 feet this owner wanted you to stay 15 feet away from him and ask for help. Once i asked the owner for help to locate an item, i got the response of " it's over there" pointing on the other side of the store, with a reply of " the customer needs help " to his employees. Smh.I feel really bad for his employees, who were already working hard and not just standing around on theirw cell phones, or doing nothing. He needs to be thankful his employees stay employed their. I would NOT want my child to be treated like dirt. Good employees are hard to find. For myself personally , just due to the lack of respect for his employees, i will NOT be going back into his establishment. Poor attitude and lack of dignity and respect. I hope he reads this!!! Have a wonderful day and by the way you lost a customer today!!!

They have the best subs. There is so much meat on their subs and the rolls, bread and pizza is excellent. Best in Gates
