I don’t review restaurants but this place was great! I got my food 3 minutes after I ordered and it was phenomenal. The rice was perfectly cooked and delicious. The chicken burrito was perfect and the quality of all the food was unmatched. The margarita was also delicious. The table was also extremely clean, the chairs and the decor were new. Recommend highly!

Nobody that waited on us could speak English good enough to understand what we wanted. The beer was flat. My burrito and rice had cold spots. When I gave a fifty dollar bill to pay the bill, they took forever to figure out the change. Never ever again will we eat at the Ridge rd east restaurant. Should have sent the food back but who knows what they would do to the food when you piss them off.

We had a group of 6 people and were seated immediately. Margarita our server immediately came out and took our drink order. She returned with drinks and asked if we were ready to order. We ordered our food soon after and the food was delicious. All the people at our table were very satisfied and talked about how great the food and service was. I highly recommend Monte Alban Mexican Grill-Irondequoit to anyone that appreciates Mexican food with fast service and be sure to ask for Margarita she is a jewel.

The Titus Ave location was so helpful this morning. I needed water while on mile 12 of a 16 miles run. I felt really dehydrated. They got me a tall glass of water with no questions asked other than making sure I was okay. No one acted like it was an inconvenience. The whole team seemed really helpful. We’ve eaten here a handful of times and always enjoyed it, but it’s nice to know that they help someone who just needs a hand.
I've been here several times over the years. I was first introduced to Monte Alban over a decade ago and have been coming a few times a year ever since. The service is excellent and very friendly. The music played throughout the restaurant is a touch too loud in my opinion but that's not a huge deal.
Unfortunately, Monte Alban's menu has gone through some changes of late and some old favorites are gone (RIP Fajita Vaquero). The food is tasty and served hot, but there are better burritos and tacos in Rochester. The chilaquiles are a standout however. I also really appreciate the fresh and complimentary chips and salsa.

Staff was very nice but not very effective. I asked for an agua fresca with no ice and brought one drowning in ice. I asked if chilaquiles could be red, I was told no, but they actually brought me red chilaquiles. All this would be fine if the food was good. The chilaquiles were soo average. Wouldn't come back for chilaquiles. Maybe other dishes are better? Not sure, but I feel less inclined to come back. Disclosure: I'm mexican, my standards are tough. Maybe for a less demanding public those chilaquiles would have been good.
