Food is good. However I’ve tried to order or pick up food several times and they are always closed or take too long to respond. Then I order door dash which says they’re open and then they say they’re closed. Confusing business hours honestly.

Went to the Lilac festival today and ordered a “pulled pork empanada” with some rice at their food truck, when I looked inside after a bite, it looked like nothing but rice inside. So when I went back, they told me it wasn’t a pulled pork anymore but a rice and pork. They failed to say that they updated their menu or even say and tell me that there’s rice in it because it was nothing but rice with two little dry pieces of pork. At least say SOMETHING!!! Tell me that it’s not pulled pork anymore!! Ripped me off out of my money! FIX YOUR MENU! False advertisement!Pastelillos > empanadas

I had an empanada here. I would love to try their other food. The staff was friendly. The empanada was expensive though, but we got it during the food truck expo at public market. The prices were most likely inflated because of that. I definitely would like to visit actual restaurant and give it a try. I had the pizza empanada, while those with me had Buffalo chicken one. We all liked it! We just came from the Juan and Maria one, [see my review on that one] so we were hesitant to try again...but glad we did.
Amazing customer service and delicious empanadas!!! Will be back and highly recommend them!

Went to their truck at RIT. They were an hour late. I was told this is common for them by several students. I ordered five dinners for a family party. They got every order wrong - I ordered an assortment and all the empanadas were one kind. Their mac and cheese is delicious. The empanadas were just okay.

Got a pork plate at the Puerto Rican fest because they were out of empanadas. The plate cost $15 and was incredibly small. Thought it would come in a styrofoam takeout container, but it was served in a small paper tray (like what a hot dog or a small fry would be served in.) I can’t express enough how much of a rip off it was. The container was barely even half full. Not even a cup of rice. The rice was cooked well, but bland. There was even less pork, which was also bland and a little dry. I’ve made more flavorful crockpot pork at home. It was topped with an orange sauce which I’m pretty sure was just ketchup/Mayo mix. It was off putting as topping on this dish. Paying was difficult and lengthy, had to walk to their other truck and disturb that line to pay.
