Beyond fantastic food! Healthy, fresh, and delicious. I feel great after eating here and the service is impeccable. Don’t have a bad word to say, I just love it here and can’t believe they are not busy 24/7! Such a gem. Real good vegetarian food - not processed crap! Injera bread is delicious if you ask for it. Dinner is small plates $5 each and you can try many things. You can’t go wrong, but I love the stew! Gnocchi is a real treat as well. It’s like dining at a close friend or family member’s here - I feel at home! Thanks Solomon & team!
I debated between one and two stars and went with two because the owner or maybe the manager was very nice.
They advertise a buffet and pay bu the pound for lunch. I went in, and he said it was a buffet and that I would bring it out to you. He listed what they had. I was not sure what to expect, but some kind of thing where I picked out what I wanted and put it on my plate.
Nope I got a plate of slop with everything they had. It was flavorless (the first time I ever had flavorless Ethiopian), and everything was watery. I asked for injera, and he brought some cut-up pieces that were dry. Everything was so soupy I could not use the injera to pick it up.
I did not weigh it, but I was charged for two pounds, and I won't be back.

We came for dinner. The small plates were mostly tasty but the big letdown was the injera. Maybe it was because it’s vegan, but it was dry and cold and not good. Unfortunate because good injera is usually the highlight in an Ethiopian meal for me. We also incidentally all had upset tummies after the dinner… :(

Came here for lunch today (weekday) and got very quick service. We both got full plates of food which was about 2 lbs, about 15 bucks each. The food was really flavorful and well balanced. I feel very energized/healthy and not sluggish like after most takeout :)
I have no idea what anything we had was called but I really liked the lentils and like…. Squash or something that came with it. lol. We asked for everything and got a big plate of many yummy things.

Best food in Rochester, wonderful staff who knows how to take care of their guests, Always willing to answer questions, make accommodations. Excellent dinner menu. Everything is delicious, but make sure to try the gnocchi and the chocolate cake. Very affordable 5$ tapas. Fast service.
