I decided to takeout lunch from this restaurant. I walked in to an empty restaurant with 7 tables. It was dirty with stains on the wall. You could hear very loudly a pastor preaching in the dinning room. The staff was friendly. I ordered the oxtai/curry chicken/steakl/fried sweet plantains with rice peas. The oxtail was hard and flavorless. The steak was spicy and the chicken was ok, it had seasoning and flavor. The plantains were bitter and a little burned. Everything tasted like it was cooked and refrigerated a few times, i assumed maybe that's why their prices are so low.

Staff has a very nasty attitude, they never smile, use manners or offer any type of friendly welcoming. The one woman stands outside early each morning yelling scriptures and speaking in tongues, she also argued with all of the neighbors when they complain about it. I once purchased a beef pattie on a Tues & it was so damn dry, crusty & bland that I went to toss it out in their trashcan and saw a Cockroach. I'd eat a corner store beef pattie before I go back to this nasty place & staff with such ugly attitudes. Sad that supporting black business is such a disgrace. Wish I could say I'm proud of our people.. Good luck to you ladies though.

The best Jamaican restaurant in Rochester. We had a variety of dishes, curried chicken, oxtail & curried goat. The food tasted great and freshly cook. I would recommend Nin's to anyone who want to eat good Jamaican food
I bought an oxtails dinner from there an the food was very good. I don't eat too much of Jamaica food but I will go back for more dinners. To try out some of their other food they sell.

Was very excited to try the food got the pepper steak...it wasn't white rice they served with it. It was Jasmin rice and they don't let you know ahead of time. The steak tasted very sweet compared to a pepper taste and the steak was shredded....will not be going back

Nins catered our wedding and they did wonderfully. They were able to accommodate our vegetarian needs and drive out to the venue. There was plenty of food and every single guest loved it. The J*** Chicken was amazing. So were the plantains and rice and peas. One of the best Jamaican restaurants I've ever been at and an excellent catering option.
