Most wonderful museum Cafe in Rochester! The food is delicious and priced much more reasonably than some museum cafes. Friendly and helpful staff are always kind and accommodating to my diet restrictions. Several vegetarian and vegan options. Perfect atmosphere.

I bring family members and friends here while out and about on Saturdays and Sundays. It’s really a unique spot in Rochester that offers delicious food you can’t get anywhere else. The palm house surrounded by the garden so charming and there’s plenty of natural light. It’s a lovely place to have lunch.

I got the salami sandwich special, open faced tuna sandwich, and street corn/waldorf salad for sides. The sandwiches were ok, definitely over priced at between $14-16 but eh side salads were just awful. The street corn was from a can and the Waldorf salad was impossibly sweet and mushy. I must also say: I’m not into giving everything a 5, so a 2, in this case, just means it was fine, I won’t be back.

What a fantastic, healthy food spot located at the George Eastman House! I had the open-faced chicken salad sandwich with a mango habanero flavor, and it was excellent. The baguette chips were light and crispy. My husband enjoyed the chicken sandwich melt, which was delicious. The cookies were amazing, especially the oatmeal cranberry, which was packed with cranberries. I had the passionfruit lemonade—so refreshing, with pieces of lemon in it. Highly recommended!

Open Face is my favorite place to eat in Rochester (or almost anywhere). Their chickpea sandwich is amazing and I regularly have it on birthdays and for special occasions, which recently included having lunch for my bridesmaids catered on my wedding day. I'd highly recommend checking out Open Face (try their cookies too!) :)
