The food was amazing, the place was very nice, and the waiter was very sweet and attentive. I only give this restaurant a 3/5 for the soul reason for the service before the meal. I called to make reservations and when we arrived at the restaurant the hostess told us that we missed our reservation and she tried to call/left a voicemail so it was "on us" and our table was given away. I proceeded to tell her that the man I talked to on the phone put the wrong time for the reservation down. She responded with "well that's on us but I called you and left a voicemail so that's on you". I never have received a phone call so I asked her what number they had and it was the wrong number. She never apologized but then immediately sat us down. Other than that, everything else was amazing, but it I definitely won't highly recommend this place to others due to that incident.

LOVE Pane Vino! They have two locations, and this location is easily my favorite. It has a very intimate setting, perfect for a date night or special occasion. We hosted our Rehearsal Dinner here and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel so special. They even printed up specialty menus for us with the date and a congratulatory message, which was such a special touch. They worked with us to create special drink tickets for our guests to use since we wanted to cover the cost of their first two drinks. I would absolutely host another special event or dinner here - would love the chance to work with this awesome team again! Menu highlights are the Chicken French (a Rochester staple!), Eggplant Parm and Linguine & Clams Sauce - but you can't go wrong with anything you choose!

We had a lovely Easter dinner today at Pane Vino. The valet, Raul, was exceptionally welcoming and helped me and my bad knees up the stairs with aplomb. We were seated promptly for our 4 pm reservation. Tables were spaced nicely out of concern for COVID no doubt. Our waitress, Jackie, was pleasant and knew all the answers to our questions about the menu and specials. For salads we chose the beet and the Caesar- both nice- sized , fresh and lovely. My husband had the Delmonico steak and I had the pork chop . Both were perfectly cooked with tasteful seasonings. Especially fabulous was the mushroom risotto side with my dinner. The owner/ manager came to check on us twice and Raul escorted me to our truck - the perfect ending to a wonderful Easter dinner.

Party of six, three salads and three entrees took one hour. Not acceptable! Wouldn't get any stars if I could submit without. Server offer excuse not after we brought the delay to her attention. Others around us arrived after but served entrees before us.

Our favorite Italian restaurant in the city of Rochester! On a beautiful fair weather might be sure to ask to dine on the outside patio. Beautiful lovely views of the city and river. Service is EXCELLENT. Waitstaff is attentive friendly and knowledgeable. Bar staff is efficient and make fabulous concoctions. The food is amazing. Before the Covid pandemic my go to was veal parmigiana. Since Covid it is off the menu. I am hopeful it will return!

On the water with an outdoor patio we'll be back to try in warmer weather. Food--exceptional lamb lollipops & fantastic chicken French & Marsala. Awesome waitress Alyssa. Great host Martin. Even owner Richard checked in us. We'll be back!!

Had a great time at dinner. Absolutely love the atmosphere. Staff was attentive and kind. We booked one of the outdoor igloos for dinner and we loved it! The heaters keep you warm and cozy while you're outside and they surround the area with small fire lamps. Food was great and totally worth the price. My group of 4 split a calamari app and it was more than enough for everyone. You can definitely tell that it's homemade. There were also so many drink options and they were all great. Wine list has a great variety of New York State wines, beer menu has a good amount of options, and there's also a bunch of cocktails. I'd love to go back!
